Long weekend in Sin City
Time for another trip!
No family this time. Just me and a female degen friend of mine. Plan is to fly from London 1st May and head back late on 4th May (via LA this time).
Plenty of good food
Some arty stuff this time
A show or two (absinthe is already booked)
I want to see Tiesto at Omina but I am reminding myself I am 43 years old and will most likely be one of the oldest people there!
Oh and plenty of bubble craps/craps action in the pits.
$10k gambling budget but have $20k back up (so yeah 10k a day, this could get ugly)

That is a really short trip, even for someone from the UK! Sounds like basically 3 full days at most. But hey, it's Vegas, so I approve 😀

Great. I might be on my own Sunday, but that's fine -- easier to get around. (My husband's conference starts Sunday.) staying behind the Flamingo at the Hilton Grand, and I can be anywhere you guys want to meet. I'd love to learn how to play bubble craps!!! "Real" craps would be fun, too, but I've only played twice in my life so again have no idea what I'm doing 😉

front of the plane?
So arrived at Heathrow with plenty of time. Asked about upgrades and yes for £480 and change each we could upgrade to upper class.
First result of the day as that means the virgin lounge and own security etc etc.
Chilled for a bit chatting and catching up with J. Did a small bit of shopping at the airport but honestly it was just super busy so I was looking forward to getting some rest. After eating in the lounge my stomach was cramping a bit!
Super smooth flight. Managed to watch the bone collector which I had wanted to see for a while now. Unfortunately no food for me on the plane as I was starting to feel pretty unwell now with my stomach. Bed down and hopefully feel better.
We landed 20 mins early and my phone already had a text from our transport saying he was there and just look out for a tall blonde guy. Helps being first off the plane, through immigration and bags in hand within 15 mins.
Room at the Horseshoe is just standard as per usual. No frills, clean, tidy and good location.

We head downstairs immediately after checking in and I show J some bubble craps. She is more of a slot girl but we immediately turned $100 into $700 so quickly cashed out as I am still feeling rough.
It's a Friday evening and the whole strip is absolutely buzzing! We do a little walk as its J's first time here so we head to Bellagio to see the conservatory and fountains.
At this point I am still feeling pretty sick so call it a night. Really annoying to get like this when your trip is so short.
My sleep is rubbish as expected so I am hoping that the morning is better!
I really want to be able to talk about a wild first night with loose women, degen gambling and waking up not remembering where I left my room key but here we are having the life of a 40 year old guy haha

Woke up far too early with only a few hours sleep. That's ok I am feeling better and the Sphere is the moon which looks cool
Head over with J to breakfast at Ellis island. Wanted to prove you can do Vegas on the cheap if you wanted. Ordered the Ham and boy it's always far too much. Especially when your stomach has been awful

Head over to bubble craps at the horseshoe. Donk off 5k very very quickly. Oh is it going to be one of those trips I think to myself.
Back to the room for a quick shower, wash away the tilt and arm myself with more to go to war with.
Now only 1k down. Basically spun up 1k to over 3k and the dice seemed cold. Max bet $500 on the DP, point 5. Took max odds and put the spare change on laying the 4. 3k max bet. Rolls 10 then 7.

Looks like you like the Don't side. Is that what you mostly play?
It really depends on how I am feeling to be honest how I play. Alot of big wins have come from playing the don't but so have the big losses as I find you have to bet heavy to play it.
We did get a nice little $200 into $1700 earlier playing the light side.
