9sJsJcQc with draws
Eight handed ROE w/ good old boys who normally play NLHE. They just play their hands for the most part and are on the tighter side, but will chase. We all know each other well, but they never adjust.
HJ (~$400): MAWG. Pretty straight forward. Plays his hand. Doesnβt know odds, etc., but has been asking me questions about it tonight. Willing to gamble a little and does stupid things when heβs tilted, but heβs not too tilted right now.
CO (~$325): YWG. Again, pretty straight forward, but heβll gamble more, is willing to bet big with draws and non-nut hands, and chases a lot.
BTN (~$800): MAWW. Iβm the only one here who plays PLO, knows odds, etc., and they know it. They donβt adjust to my aggression, bet sizes, etc.
1/2/5 PLO
HJ and CO limp. I raise to $25 w/ 9sJsJcQc, HJ and CO call.
Flop ($85): 2c7s8c. HJ bets $30, CO post to $175, Hero?
FWIW, I put HJ on a drawing hand β maybe clubs, maybe some type of straight draw. He does not seem too strong from his bet and he does not like the pot from CO. I put CO on two pair or the same type of draw. He might have a set.
I have Q-high clubs, a gut shot, and an over pair. Do I re-pot to try to just go for it against CO? Call and let HJ come along? Just get out of the way?

Did you write it wrong??? I'm seeing there's 3 clubs on the board?? If this were 3 clubs board, it's a snap fold?
You mean 2 clubs???
If there are only 2 clubs, then I think it's a bit closer but probably a fold still???
It took me a while to realize even naked nfd don't fold on this flop.
We are drawing slim if we are up against nfd vs 1, 1 w/sets
Sorry, 7 spades.
The cutoff acts before the hijack?
Regardless, button should fold and wait for the many future opportunities where sheβll have far higher equity.
Any advice? Or is this an easy fold?
I think itβs an easy fold, but with them being short stacked, trying to knock out HJ with a repot has to be than calling.
