The NHL Thread
For the 5 of us who post NHL stuff, here you go. Officially the season starts Tuesday October 11, although there were tw
well ..... at least the bumz are finished
That was going to be a devastating loss no matter who took it. Game 7 is going to be lit.
good job men
Congrats Nate!
Nice to see Mitch have success
Go Vegas
Benson and Doan are a couple of dogs. Not a fan of Bennie's slewfoot but whatever
"We were an average team all year. An average team with high expectations, you're gonna be disappointed. We just never found it."
-Connor McDavid, after being eliminated from the playoffs in the first round.
where's the lie
NHL forwards drafted by the Oilers since McDavid: Kailer Yamamoto, Ryan McLeod, Dylan Holloway. Thatβs it.
absolute cinema
Funny thing is that Dostal was actually worse than both Jarry and Ingram in GSAE/60 so you can't even put the blame on the goaltending, EDM just kinda sucks now.
Possibly expect as early as Monday Media Conference with the Leafs to announce new management.
We are also projected to have $22 million cap space this next season.
So we're starting the 2nd round before the 1st round is over?
Seems logical -
Stankoven!
Let’s go!
That was a good start to the series.
Only reason I give two shits about this game is my guy heels
Letβs go heels
I appreciate the support.
Stankoven x2!
Hell of an effort. Another win in the books. On to the next one.
necas for rantanen is actually kind of a mid-off at this point. rantanen has been very mediocre this season (in a contract year? lol). he actually hasn't been great since 2021-22 when he was the avs best player by xg. kind of forgot that he's already 28 years old ... yeah that's not a guy i'd want to invest $90m/7 in or whatever and necas is obv a meh fish on a heater, no one h
thought i explicitly said that the canes won that 3-way situation by getting stank at his age and cap number, but guess i only stated it implicitly via my criticisms of necas & rant
(nobody saw it coming)
related: one guess as to who the worst dallas star was 5v5xg-wise in their loss to wild at 35%. yup, you guessed it...
You guys are baffled the NHL didn't want to leave a Saturday night vacant during the playoffs?
The only baffling thing is the start times of today's games.
