$5 DBBP: is this monster draw a fold on flop?
Hero has 98dd in HJ
$300-500 stacks
Flops ($35): K62ccc & T74dxd
So I flop a combo draw on one and absolute zilch on another
MP bets $5, I call, CO calls, BTN raises to $35, MP calls, Hero ?
Is it worth chasing here just because if we hit our straight, we can probably xr huge when BTN bets again and pick up dead money?

Snap fold
To me this is like playing hi/lo
The idea is to scoop and you’re likely in no position to do that. A pot-sized bet, followed by a call and your best hand at the moment is nine high. You can’t wish your way into profitable situations, listen to dangomango!

Fold the first time.
That's a little nitty but I don't mind it. Obviously anybody with a made flush and something like A♣ Kx or Kx Q♣ are going balls to the wall here, and you're in a classic loser's position of having to potentially put in money you'll wind up surrendering.
But for five bucks getting 8-1 immediate I probably do the same thing.
FWIW, one of your straight outs is already dead, too, on the other board.
I agree with what was already said, here's another helpful perspective for playing big draws in DBBP in general:
The biggest draws can have up to 60% equity on 'their' board. If you have 0% on the other, you are capped at 30% overall equity, that already tells you that in most cases you have to overrealize your equity in some way and that is pretty hard in your specific spot but also in DBBP in general (the reason being that a big draw usually has a straight draw component and straights are not the best hands to over-realize equity in DBBP.
But aren’t you guys considering the fold equity and getting people off 2 pairs or lower flushes etc to scoop all the dead money?

How happy are you if you check-raise big and both of them call. I think that if you had one board locked up, it might be reasonable, but you have nothing & if you hit - it won’t be the nuts.
Now if you tell me you x/r jam and they both fold, you’re not telling me much. If I jam every hand, most people will fold, but sooner or later, better will call. Why do I have this feeling you jammed and they both folded?

All straight outs are nutted. I’m not xjamming if I turn a flush obv.
I dunno about calling but if you jam now probably 40% of the time you get called and lose your stack, 40% of the time you get called and chop the pot and 20% of the time you get folds and win what's out there at the moment. Doesn't seem a great spot when you've got absolutely nothing at all on the other board
Calling 35, hitting the straight and check jamming turn is a great way to get free rolled for stacks. And this is the best case scenario.

Why would I jam now? I’d only jam if I had one board locked.
Your equity on one board is what like 30-50%? Now divide that by 2 bc your equity on the other board is prob close to zero. 15-25% - so liken that to holdem, with the RIO from flush over flush on some of your outs, it's not something where you'd be happy about the escalation.
I'd call the $5 but fold to the raise.
