I suspect you are out of date. Interprovincial migration returned to net positive in BC for the last three quarters. In contrast, we expect population decline in BC not because of interprovincial migration but because of reduced immigration to Canada of international students etc, the thing you are all cheering for.
Outside of one particularly worrying court case where every party is on board with ensuring the tail risk from that court case doesn't pass, what are these particularly crazy things?

If anything has become obvious the last couple of days it's that Ottawa has absolutely no clue about the numbers regarding immigration and you blindly keep repeating them as gospel and calling people like me, who have questioned them for years, stupid.

I look at building codes as one , transfer tax on properties, no airbnb's( more local) failure to recognize other provinces certifications, protectionist provincial trade

Oh ok. None of that sounds particularly crazy. I can't comment on building codes. Transfer tax on property sale is true of most provinces, Alberta and Saskatchewan are the exception not the rule. You can debate it, but not crazy. Airbnb restrictions seemed likely a fairly natural response to the housing crisis, again debatable but not crazy. BC does accept a huge swath of certifications from other provinces, my goodness. Trudeau signed and Carney expanded the Canada Free Trade agreement, the blocks on "protectionist provincial trade" are now fairly small things like alcohol. None of this seems particularly crazy.

Heck, I talked about that precise reported quoted in your article when it originally came out ITT, so you can't just imagine I'm blindly doing anything. I have zero issues with increasing efforts to track entrants and exits - I don't precisely know the logistical challenges but I'm broadly supportive. Good for Carney.

It reminds me of a phase my 8 year old had when he was about 3. If you explained why a certain behaviour was wrong, he would just do that behaviour more and more and thought he was SO clever to do.

I'm basically wondering if Canadian universities are just another example of poorly ran institutions who are bringing in heaps of money but somehow claim they need to charge international students 50k a year to ''subsidize'' domestic students while charging them between 7k to 15k a year.

Notice that I was calling out conestoga college long before this audit, which is disappointing but sadly not surprising. However, I want to draw a clean line in the sand. The international student facing diploma mill colleges (and no, they are not the only one, but they are the largest) are VERY very different from the medical and comprehensive universities - or even from most reputable colleges. In your quote where you speculate about "Canadian universities" being poorly run, there is night and day between proper universities and diploma mill colleges like this.
