This is utter torture

.

Hoooooold

Zero chance they overturn this right?

Oh my god.

The drama

What a survival

VARSENAL VAAAARSENAL

Pathetic

Unreal drama - seemed like every WH player in box was being tackled by an Arsenal player including the one who clearly was then fouling Raya. The VAR was probably wishing he had the day off today.

Wow that's a disgrace

I don't give a toss that we are now safe, that was a teriible decision.

Thank **** for VAR

Incredible.

Clear foul on Raya impeded his access to the ball. Even Arsenal hater Neville agrees.

Coming out of retirement to say that was egregious.

4 NFL wrap up tackles in the box and they ignore that while overturning with some soft ass ****. LOL VAR

As I said. Nailbiter Central.

Hope we scrape through this one.

0-1 with a corner or something. Cant even remember when we scored our last corner

This is even better than what I originally imagined

it's never ever not getting overrulled.
nuno saying it happens all the time and gets called differently, i challenge anyone to find a case of goalkeepers arm being pulled by a player as he goes to catch and not being called a foul

I think it’s a foul. Why is Rice having his arms wrapped around Mavropanos ignored?

i guess then you need replay which action begins first and they just couldn't be fucked. also much less 'clear and obvious'

Couldn’t be ****ed to decide a league title and possibly who gets relegated properly is mind blowing stuff.

Oh never mind. Hopefully Spurs will lose at home to Leeds tomorrow.

Its equally a foul on the keeper and a pen to West Ham.

Safest call here is to opt for the bigger club. Which I think is what happened

It’s much more that if they called it a penalty every time someone had an arm around an attacker at a corner, games would end 10-8.

it's so much to sift through for the VAR but:

- it's very difficult to see what action started first
- hands across goalkeepers neck, holding goalkeepers arm is something which there is no grey area on, never has been
- holding in the box is much more grey and equally todibo pull on Raya is happening simultaneously

can see why VAR ruled way they did and would have been mega surprised for it to go any other way in a PL match

Does anyone believe it would be overturned if it was other way round?

There is no grey area on holding someone. It’s a foul.

No it wouldn’t, people would stop fouling and conceding penalties.
