From Small to High Stakes: One PLO players climb
Creating this thread to keep me accountable on my journey. PLO player, some live some online. Working full time and grin
how do you study 6 card?
Haven't spend that much time studying it. Just videos on PLO mastermind and discussing spots with other players. Very high percentage of my study is 4 card.
The 6 card games I was playing were extremely soft. I unfortunately don't have access to them anymore.
Would you recommend PLO mastermind for someone getting started with PLO? I also want to grind alongside my job and you seem to do it successfully. I guess you were already profitable before mastermind? Would you say it has improved your game significantly?

I would definitely recommend PLO mastermind and trainer.
I've had a couple coaches when I started and thought this would be the fastest way to improve. Then after getting PLO mastermind I realised this was a significantly quicker way to improve my game and develop strong fundamentals.
I'm sure different methods are effective for different people, so it's just my opinion. If I was you I would only get it for 1 month initially to trial it out. Get PLO mastermind and trainer and start with the 30 day study plan.
Goodluck !

That helps a lot, thanks. Good luck, I will keep following the thread :-).
Ramped up volume last month and finished +$7.6k. Playing live, mostly private. Games have decent action and have been swingy. I've been opening up my range and playing a bit more splashy so I don't look like a nit. It's the one thing I don't like about private games, just having to factor in the politics and trying to maintain your invitation to the game.
That's my 11th month since I created the thread, so going to ramp up the hours for this last month to close off the year.
