[extracted] New(?) 9-11 stuff

KSM got a plea deal. The guy who supposedly masterminded the 9/11 attacks is not getting the death penalty.

If you still

How little do you know? Do you understand that light can be modelled as an electromagnetic wave?

For further interest, Einstein had this to say, "More careful reflection teaches us however, that the special theory of relativity does not compel us to deny ether."

Try answering the question. In case you forgot already, tiny brain, the question was "How do Maxwell's equations imply the aether?"

Fascinating, earth is flat and sun is 1,000 miles away.

I don't really feel like wasting time on you today, but the good news is that you're currently using a device which will facilitate your search of this evidence. I direct you to the magic of Google and/or Wikipedia. If you insist on waiting for me to produce it, I might do so over the next few days if I feel like it.

I enjoy watching you make a fool of yourself, as the soulless frightful entity you are. I know full well there is no such proof.

Billy, just for the avoidance of doubt - the reason I am so scathing and acerbic towards you is not that you are exceptionally stupid, which you of course are. The reason I am so scathing and acerbic towards you is that you are also arrogant, stubborn, hypocritical, dishonest, obnoxious, and suffer from many delusions, including those of grandeur. All traits which, while not exactly desirable on their own, certainly do not combine particularly harmoniously with stupidity, nor with one another.

He's also a coward.

Oops, slight correction, it was only 5 orders of magnitude. Still, the difference between 900 and 90,000,000 seems quite large, in absolute terms. I know how many dollars I'd rather have.

The interesting thing is, for those who need it spelling out, is that geometric proofs such as Eratosphenes are regurgitated wholesale without a second thought while Rowbotham's is rejected for no good reason.

Rowbotham was a ludicrous crank and charlatan with no qualifications.

Sounds like a perfectly modern guy. Nowadays his tube channel would have 1m+ followers.

...running away from a lecture in Blackburn when he could not explain why the hulls of ships disappeared before their masts when sailing out to sea.[4] However, as he persisted in filling halls by charging sixpence a lecture, his quick-wittedness and debating skills were honed so much that he could "counter every argument with ingenuity, wit and consummate skill"

Sounds like Ben Shapiro!

My guess is that Billy is trying to emulate that style here, but, unfortunately for him, he lacks the quick-wittedness, debating skills, ingenuity, wit, and consummate skill.

He explains perfectly why the laws of optics require disappearance hull first.

What is the last book you read d2? (TV guide is not a book).

Your mum's diary, accidentally found it in one of the bedside drawers. Quite the thriller. Suffice to say, you are a perpetual disappointment.

Is Billy still living in the 1980’s from a bad trip or do they still publish a TV guide and he made a dad joke?

More like the 1380's. BC.

I thought 1380 was the last year of his cutting edge science. His own Age of Enlightenment.

Dad joke.

A simpler time.

So Billy, when will you be explaining to us the difference between saying "x is true" and "it is a proven hypothesis that x is true"?

Also, will you be telling us how Maxwell's equations imply the aether without requiring it? Because, you know, it seems to me that if they don't require it, then that means they work without it, therefore there is no possible way they can imply it. But I know that logic is not really your thing, so it'd be interesting to hear your take.

D2 you know sweet FA about anything.

So what's the last book you read? (Pornos are not books jfc.)

Just ignoring questions you can't answer then. Gorgo is spot on, complete coward. GTFO.

I guess Billy probably went back to preaching his flat Earth doctrine in Facebook groups where his audience actually believes he understands physics and science and ****.
