Poker blog challenge thingy.

Ok, here's the thing....poker is much easier than 99% of people make out. It just is, it requires nothing more than a level of discipline above what the majority of people seem to be able to maintain. Id suggest pretty much every failed challenge in this thread is due to people losing their own discipline when a few buy ins down and promptly losing their mind and blowing the remainder of their bankroll. Its admittedly more difficult than 20 years ago but as a general rule its still easier than we all pretend when we talk about solvers and GTO and all that. To evidence this fact ive decided to start again as if i was 21 again, stuck 750 dollars into a new account and within 90 days ill 10x that so 7500. Ill start at 30 buy ins so 25nl, theres a chance ill get bored so this may fluctuate but 30 buy ins is the aim. I am also v well aware i am in very real danger of looking a right dickhead here if this goes to **** lol. Wish me luck, ill update a few times a week.

My standard would prob be 200nl. Ill share back story over next day or so as the full answer would be that im just a dull retired guy tbh who potters about making a nuisance of himself for a laugh most of the time.

Best of luck.

First update - Turns out this was an incredibly dull decision of mine to have made. Hardly had motivation to do much first 3 days meaning this is gonna require some motivation to get in suitable volume. Couple of buy ins up so nice enough i guess. Will try to get decent amount in throughout tonight. Thus far ive found a mixture of players, some who seem surprisingly ok, most pretty nitty/obv and then some completely mental who i'm struggling to even comprehend what they are doing on a poker table.
Its interesting that the mistakes people made 20 years ago at micros remain the same as they are today. Example being - if someone holds a premium...well they simply aren't folding/letting go of that hand no matter what happens as it progresses. Which comes in v useful.
Chances of me achieving my stated aims in my OP are decreasing as i am going to have to pull my finger out and put in effort here as, even if for nothing else, it would actually be good for me in general to work a bit harder\quit being lazy.

Ok i think thats about a week. im erm...about a grand total of 6 buy ins up lol. Which is kinda fine but issue remains i've played about 1/8th of the volume i should so yet again i shall say (perhaps rather foolishly again) that i shall increase effort this week. *Sighs heavily and watches netflix for a bit. But hey...it is the weekend so good time to push this.
Ill work on it over weekend and post some hands for feedback as i'd appreciate such comments.
Off top of my head my c3bet is ridic high, just cant help myself. My logic behind this is that i know what id 3b with and i kinda forget at micro/low others wouldn't. This creates a problem i need to remember.

About 2 week in now. im prob about 50% of where i should be both in bankroll aim and effort. Ill post some graphs later but in short im running just fine in terms of $ per hour. just harder than i thought to keep interest. Much, much harder. which is a weakness in myself as once upon a time i was the hardest working human on the planet. Need to keep working on that, which i shall. Got few days free coming up so will try to really push it then.
Id be interested to hear others thoughts on playing in micros. in that i mean, what are your stats? Im finding absolute ABC poker and TAG is still to this day all thats needed. Is this standard do you find or simply a lucky run on a v small volume? There pretty much always at least 1 maniac at any table also which is either a staggering piece of luck or is indeed normal to find?
Think ill go to staking thread and find a micro player to back actually, that could be fun. Let's see if my theory of it all is right.
