Cincinnati band. I knew some of those guys way back in the day. I used to know everyone in Cincinnati but I have retreated to the suburbs.

Gordon Gano called me once to assure me that nothing was going on between him and my girlfriend. He took her out whenever the Violent Femmes played Cincinnati.

She was a beautiful black girl with roses tattooed all over her hands and neck. I think she's a Christian Tradwife now maybe? She had makeup over the tats in the last pic I saw.

Always up for some banjo music

This showed up in a newsletter this morning. Why this song is so polarizing is beyond me. All I had to do was hum a couple of bars to send my ex on massive tilt.

Apparently Don Henley did not like the Ataris cover of Boys Of Summer, especially them changing Deadhead to Black Flag, and was pleased that was by far the biggest thing they ever did. Tony Campbell otoh said he kind of liked it.
