GGPoker Deposit limit increase question

GGPoker Deposit limit increase question

Newbie on here so not sure if I am on the correct forum.

I am a rec based in the UK and asked GG to increase my monthly deposit limit (currently $750 per month).

I showed them over $2 million in savings and over $100k per year income.

They have refused to increase my limit.

Has anyone else had any joy increasing their limit?

I know all about the UK Gambling Commission guidelines but surely this is ridiculous.

I am speculating here but could they be reviewing gameplay patterns for responsible gaming purposes? Say if a player was starting playing at $10NL but lost a number of buyins then upped the stakes to $20 or $50 to chase it back and got rolled. Would they review that and make a call like the one in your case in this scenario?

I am not from the UK so not familiar with their licensing rules but am aware they are strict and only getting stricter. I don't mind rules for protection but it is getting ridiculous.

Don't waste your time. I asked them to increase my limit to £3k as a one-off when I signed up. I sent them bank statements, called out what was being transferred to savings each month, and offered to send them screenshots of my savings accounts. I got nowhere. They are being over the top with the UK KYC rules.

UK gambling regs have gotten brutal the last couple years and GG are extra cautious about it. I had a similar runaround on Stars.uk where they kept asking for source of funds docs even after I'd already sent them. From what I've heard the $750 cap is tied to their UK licence conditions rather than anything GG can override internally, so it might be worth just playing on their .com version through a VPN-free jurisdiction or using a different site that operates under a more lenient licence like ACR or WPT Global.
