AQo in the CO vs BTN with pathological need to see his opponent's cards

AQo in the CO vs BTN with pathological need to see his opponent's cards

1/2. Rake/promo/tip is 6+3+2 to 60.

V1 (250) has a VPIP/RFI/3b around 30/17/2. He limp-calls and calls 3bets. He 3betted only once. His biggest leak is postflop, when he has a pathological need to see his opponent’s hands. V has happily reloaded five times, in total maybe for 1,200.

V2 and V3 (around 300) are loose-passives around 24/6. No 3bets.

Hero (covers) has a LAG image.

OTTH

V1 BTN straddles. V2 and V3 call. Hero in CO with AhQc to 35. Only V1 calls.

Flop (71): AAKr

Hero?

I like $25 on flop, $60 on turn, and All-in for $130 on the river. Looking to go small on this flop and then roughly geometric (same size relative to the pot) on turn and river to set up an all-in. Easy to get it all-in at this stack depth and your hand is worth all the money against this guy regardless of the run out.

Against such opponent go for 3 streets of value. Don't slowplay.

Hero bets 25. V folds.

bet $10 on flop

Range bet around 20.

Everyone talks about getting the money in, but you have to be called for that to happen. Even though this guy likes to call, he’s not stupid - this board smashes your range.

I would check flop and hope he catches up. At least that way, there’s some doubt on whether you hit the board or not. When you bet and declare that you hit, there’s no way he can float.

It’s not what your hand wants, it’s what villain will do in this situation. What hand can call?

It may not do any good, but I think you try to get something out of villain, rather than think he’s willing to play for stacks. Maybe the title led to the thought, villain will always call - but the situation made it too difficult.

Don't check. Just bet small, like $15.
