on the surface, it doesnt make sense that they would try to kill their chosen collaborater (ie their Delcy Rodriguez) and then burn him a few months later.
It doesn’t seem hard to believe that they attempted to release him from house arrest and ended up injuring him.
The weird thing is why they put it in the newspapers. Seems at least plausible they are trying to get him killed.
I would agree (As a matter of first principle, I am going to call bullshit on any NYT story where the only 'evidence' is from anonymous govt officials).
And yet I am sure Victor uncritically accepts the NYT "investigation" of all the supposed IDF prison rapes.

As you probably remember, I was not at all convinced that they were trying to kill him. I don't subscribe to the idea that the U.S. military, the Israeli military, or any military, operates in some sort of error-free, hyper-competent way. That certainly isn't an accurate description of any large organization to which I have been privy.
Well, no one seems to question whether his residence was being targeted or not. Everyone agrees on that part.
The question is whether he was being targeted for assassination or to be freed. And the idea that Israel bombed someone's residence to 'free them' is so ludicrous it would need a mountain of additional evidence to support it before one would assume that was the most likely motive.

I posted about the dog rapes in 2024 way before the NYT said anything. you guys got mad and tried to get me banned for accusing Jews of doing such depraved acts. except for rafki and BOIDs, they celebrated it.

its not my framing. its the framing of Israel defenders. David Frum just wrote an article calling it blood libel against the Jews. Netanyahu said the same of course.
and, its not inaccurate. Jewish soldiers of the Jewish State, supported by 70-90% of Jews worldwide and 99% of Jewish institutions, are the ones committing these horrific crimes.
