JDub unlocks their offense with his versatility in ways that can't readily be qualified imho. He had 40 points in G5 of the Finals last year, ffs. This injury makes them more one dimensional. Plus he can't do his part in "trying" to guard Wemby.

woah
AD wants OUT from the Wiz. REALLY Doesn't want to be on a rebuilding team.

So how about:
AD to LAKERS

for

Knecht
Vanderbilt
Laravia
Ayton
#25 pick

Then you can re-sign Rui and Reaves, and get LeBron on a discount because he'd be McLovin' to play with his buddy AD again.

Then you're rolling out:
AD
LeBron
Rui
Luka
Reaves

Now that's a friggin monster movie team!!!!
Lakers are +3000 to title in 26/27 on DK

AD and a second rounder for Luka?

by Onlydo2days

I don't either but it is more about the war of attrition at this point.

Per usual. The NBA playoffs are always an injury avoidance contest.

Kenny has to see that this bench group isn’t it. Wade gives you his best conceivable effort with the starters, gives you a +1 and you lose.

deal would work but Luka doesn't want to play for the Wizards either

They play too much. We’re taking our stand on Thunder -110 to hoist

saw an ad on instagram for an ai service which records you as you watch the game, getting all your reactions in real time and then edits everything down into a ready to consume podcast that recaps the game

wonder if NBA would ever change the playoff schedule so it isn't every other day at this time of year

aaron gordon talked about it after gm 7 last year, I remember HBob brought it up awhile ago too

just seems like one of those things if you start adjusting and it doesn't work then what do you do?

The playoffs need to take two months. Minimum!

Admittedly I spend way too much time on Twitter but the amount of discourse from all sides on refs and this guy flopping and cutting isolated clips with the right angle to prove that "this player is so dirty/this player is a flopper" has gotten really tiring for me - there is an awesome series with awful player and most of the content I see is about referees

Two days off when changing cities would suffice.

Part of this is random dumb ****s shitting for clicks on social media. But there is also a culture in the NBA playoffs of players, coaches, and media people working the refs between games in the hopes of influencing the officiating of the next game. The most common form of this behavior is going on and on about how Team X shot more free throws than Team Y, the implication of course being that those questions will get louder if the same thing happens next game. I think that culture fuels some of the social media dumbassery.

Chet for a free throw attempt clearly stepped on Wemby’s foot and it was 100% on purpose.

In the 80s or 90s someone would break his jaw for trying that ****.

Even the pre-Twitter/X days of the commentators barely trying to subtly induce that "lots of contact, but no fouls called" when it is their team taking the punishment to the basket, while remaining numb when it happens with the opposite team, has more to do with tribalism/the human nature of going for the home team, imho.

Brunson switching it up with 14 dimes

Brunson switching it up with 14 dimes

He dropped more dimes than a nervous bank teller.

Cavs lost by 16 points in a game where they had 18 more FT attempts and 8 more offensive rebounds than their opponent. Surely that doesn't happen very often.

Cavs defense was horrible last night.

Daigneault is going to play Dort until he’s cost himself a dynasty

Every game, every year, every series. Bury ourselves in the Dort minutes and then bring in the good players to dig out

Yeah I was a little surprised Dort started. Just isn't some bigger wing for him to body up and be physical with and all these other guys are way better than him offensively, which they sorely need with JDub out

Could see Wallace starting 2nd half

NBA is a game of runs

Who is the biggest piece of **** in the NBA?
my vote: Lu Dort

OKC offense looks gross when Wemby is on, lit them up when he was off

but I think the edge OKC has is if they can just keep it close late, they're the more experienced/composed team late game

Maybe Fox changes that some but they know how to dig and dial in that final 5 minutes

Wemby is not playing like an alien this evening. With Fox and Harper back and JDub out, I thought it would be an easy victory, especially when the Spurs came out storming with 15 points advantage, but I guess not...
