Hit the Bell for a snack and they had on offer a shredded beef dipping taco. I was intrigued, but not enough to pay $4.29 for one. Is this a LTO they've had before? Seemed like it but not sure.
Also wasn't hungry enough to try the cantina chicken mexican pizza but it's on the list.
May 24th 2026, I experienced the worst MCD has to offer in the lovely town of Anacortes, Washington. Let the record be stated:
Got my usual, daily double modified. I could've stopped at BK but their prices are highway robbery for the value of goods received
lettuce was stale, not shredded, bag iceberg lettuce like you'd get at a grocery store
tomatoes were tiny horrible wrecked globs of sadness
fries slightly overcooked but fine. nugs were nugs.
the cashier appeared to be incompetent. manager on duty had to remind her not to put sandwiches on the tray (if the order isn't ready). Manager used the back of her hand to temp the sandwich on the tray, and immediately threw it away to remade. I've never heard a manager call out an employee for being stupid before [edit: at MCDs]
said manager called out my name for my takeout order. not making eye contact with me, despite the fact I'm the only dude that had been waiting there.

Stopped at Lost Dutchman State Park for a quick picnic lunch after a visit to the Arboretum this morning. Jersey Mike's #13, Mike's Way, no onions, add mayo and spicy mustard.

Went to Jersey Mike’s myself. Club Supreme which is turkey, rosbif, and bacon. Not sure I tasted any bacon, or turkey, but at least I know there was barely any turkey on it. Pathetic amount of meat here. The insane thing was, it was still tasty, but private equity already has disgraced my dude Jersey Mike.

Is this a thing? I noticed the last time I got a tuna, they really skimped on the tuna.
I ate a metric buttload of Wendy’s last night because I’m trying to commit suicide in the worst way possible. Jalapeño Ranch Double was decent. Spicy chicken sandwich was fresh, yet still bad. And they forgot the signature nugget sauce that I paid extra for. I’d say for shame Wendy’s, but it’s all my fault for eating that trash.
I went to a gyro joint, got the same crappy maters as I got at MCDs, so I guess it's a supply chain thing for cheap tomatoes.

I've got 4 tomato plants growing in my garden. Should have tomatoes coming out of my ears in about a month.

Lost Dutchman is next to the Superstitions, in Apache Junction. Great views, and I bet the hikes are alright. We picked up JM's and hit a picnic ramada. Nice day for it.
Anyone try the Panera Bread lobster roll in the Northeast region? $23.99 and up.
That's in the price range of a real seafood restaurant lobster roll, but I am not in the Northeast.
