This makes Black Friday look like a children’s birthday party.

There’s no chance this passes right? It would

Correct but that is not what the other poster is claiming. He claims, incorrectly, you can continue deducting 100% of losses.

As I noted, he is saying nothing changed yet all the tournament grinders are complaining about the change creating pseudo income

I def don’t think that’s what NickMPK is claiming at all.

Who are you saying is claiming this?

Not you. I believe that poster has corrected himself.

I wonder who was in Trump's ear to get that cluster**** injected into the bill in the first place

Trump didn't put it in there; some nobody Senator from Idaho managed to slip it into a 900 page bill that nobody read, and here we are.

"some nobody" senator put the R. by his name. Recognition of the reality that the republicans have been the ones to do this to us is necessary.

Exactly.

Anyone remember UIGEA 2006 (now 20 years later)? Rep. Leach [R-IA] and Rep. Robert Goodlatte [R-VA], who co-authored. Then sped the senate side by Sen. Frist [R-TN] and Sen. Kyl [R-AZ]

That would be awesome!

How can they get it cancelled?

Senator Mike Crapo (R - Idaho) put it in.

Probably by paying Trump enough money. Let’s see if these big shots are willing to put their money where their mouths are.

Don't get too excited. This is a process by which the IRS interprets and applies the act passed by congress. It is not congress amending or repealing the act, and the IRS does not have authority to do so itself.

It would cost a lot. A very lot, for pleasing a guy who took in $2 billion in his first year at the 2.0 helm.
