I'm rooting for OKC, partially because people are wayyyyy too weird with flopping. Yeah, SGA flops, just like every other basketball player ever. No, what am I saying, Vlade Divac and Reggie Miller never flopped. Flopping is a new phenomenon. Good call.
People getting mad when SGA or Harden get to the line a lot is so goddamn stupid. Getting to the line at a high rate is extremely efficient basketball. That's exactly what they should be doing. They should certainly continue to give absolutely zero ****s if it entertains random fans or not.
A big part of the reason SGA/Harden get so many free throws is that they are smarter players than their average opponent. It SHOULD be celebrated. Oh no, nevermind, it's all about ref corruption or some other piece of idiocy that people love to go on about.
Being an angleshooter at every single damn opportunity doesn’t necessarily mean you’re smart.
The refs can be bad at calling certain aspects of the flop without being corrupt.
They should take it back to the 80s. Require real hard falls to get to the line, potential injuries be damned. Then we’ll see how much these morons keep flopping when they’re missing every shot and not being rewarded.

Jared McCain has preternatural footwork. It’s truly special. But he can’t play with Shai because Shai does not move. Unless it’s an action predesigned for him to receive the ball, he wouldnt budge from the three point line once for 40 minutes.
If youve never watched James Harden. His style can be described in one word: stagnation. He’s one of the best halfcourt one on one players who will ever do it. But it will never maximize your offense. Movement maximizes offense. Putting defenders into conflict maximizes offense.
In short, running is good in most sports James Harden doesnt run. Never has and his success at the highest levels never came because of it.
Gilgeous is dumb talented but if you dont see any similarities i dont know what to tell you.

It’s a testament to how truly good they are. But when you get to the highest level of the sport, small things like effort and running and decision making actually matter. If this city doesnt win at least three rings, it’s because shai is way too James Harden and not enough Steph Curry. The GOAT offensive player, not just because he’s good at three-pointers.
Definitely cheering for OKC because it makes the haters furious. But regardless, whoever wins better beat the **** out of the Knicks.
