Missed value or reasonable cooldown this deep at Krispy Kreme?
1/3 NLHE 9 handed
Game is late overnight and we're deep. Most hands are straddled or double straddled and 40$ pre is getting called by any PP, any AXs, KXs, QTo etc etc. 3-bets are still fairly nutted.
V1 - Asian station friend. Lots of hours together, doesn't tilt, used to be the biggest station in the room and now his game is evolving to the point where he's adding a lot of raising and bluffing (but also still calling a lot when faced with aggression). He gives me ZERO credit for having a hand 90% of the time. We love to play HU and get feisty with each other. He's recently added the cold 4-bet to his quiver with 56s and AJo and stuff pre but he doesn't understand exactly why he's doing it I think. 900$. SB.
HH w/ V1: H opens A6dd, V calls BB, SRP, Flop 6-5-4 no ♦, H cbet small, V x/raises with JTo, H calls, turn 6h-5h-4s-Qs, V check H check, river 2♦, V bets 1.5x pot I call and win.
HH2 w/ V1: V1 opens LP with 97s, H 3! BB AQo, V1 calls. A-9-5r. H cbet, V1 calls. Turn 7os. H 1.5x pot shove, V calls and river blanks. (He's calling with any A).
V2 - Unknown MAWG. Came in and ran (or played?) good for awhile and ran up 500 to 2.2k and then gave it all back. Turns out he's just a loose passive that was hitting value I think. About 8 hours together at this point. He flopped middle set IP vs V1 at one point on a drawy board and played it to trap which was unusual I thought (88 on 7-8-J FD). He's been on mega tilt for awhile and just calling anything but his form of tilt seems to be to chase and call, not to push back with aggression. 1.5k$. BTN.
HH w/ V2: H opens TT EP, nit calls IP, V calls OOP. 3-ways 2nd to act. A-3-2r V2 checks, H cbet for thin value, nit folds, V2 calls, turn 9, check check, river A-3-2-9-4, V bets 1/2 pot and we call beating his 74os.
-----Stacks: V1 900, H covers, UTG 2k, BTN 1.5k ----
V2 straddles BTN 6, V1 to 20 in SB, H sees K♦ K♣ in BB and makes it 60, UTG (irrelevant fish, LP pre FOF post) cold calls, V2 cold calls BTN, V1 calls SB. 4-ways 2nd to act 3BP.
Flop 240 - Q♥ 8♣ 6♥
V1 checks, H cbet 125, UTG folds, V2 calls BTN, V1 check-calls SB. 3-ways.
Turn 615 - 9♦
V1 checks, H checks, V2 checks
River 615 - 2♥
V1 checks....

Bet the turn, probably shove.
Serious question: Did you write this with AI?
Anyway, raise to 100 pf, someone will put you on AK and 3! to 250, and then you can jam and not have to make any OOP decisions.
You go crazy with draws, but are hesitant with big made hands.
You could go bigger preflop or flop. However, just shove the turn. If someone made a set or straight, so be it.
I actually don't hate the check on this particular turn in a multiway pot when you're that deep and with the button yet to act. If it was a total blank I would have kept betting, but several hands improved on the turn, and when $1500 goes in you're often not in great shape. KK plays pretty well as a check (not looking to fold).
DB might have a point though that the way you blast off with semibluffs, you will likely get hero called a lot in spots like this where you, "have it." You should generally play your value the way you play your bluffs. So maybe considering the banana effect you should pile money in? I'm not sure. You should understand these gameplay dynamics better than any of us sitting here reading a hand history do.
Regardless, as played the flush completing river is a horrible card. Check. If you had the Kh and were blocking a fair amount of flushes you could consider betting but without it I would just check, mainly looking to check fold if button bets.
Grunch:
PRE - raise bigger. At least $80.
SB's raise seems somewhat smallish in this spot, in this game, at this stack depth. Kinda want to raise big enough to push other players behind us out of the pot, and hopefully get this heads up with SB. If he thinks we're always FOS, he should call, even with a wider range.
FLOP - I might check. C-betting also seems fine. Not sure about the 1/2 pot sizing. Seems like a spot where we want to go small, like 1/3 pot, or full pot.
Small bet = we keep their calling ranges wide, and they'll fast play their nutted hands more.
Big bet = we charge their inelastic draws and Qx the max to continue.
TURN - Think I'd continue to bet here. Doesn't need to be huge. Could be 1/3-1/2 pot, like $200-$300.
The 9d brings in JT, T7, and some 2P combos in our opponents' ranges, but otherwise doesn't change much. We can still target our opponents' inelastic draws and QX for value.
RIVER - Yuck.
Pretty sure we've got V1 beat, but it seems like we've run out of value. Probably just check-evaluate. Mostly planning to check-call if V2 bets, given the read on him. It gets dicey if V2 bets and V1 calls. If V2 bets and V1 raises, yeesh. I might fold in that scenario.
Result: We just check river and it checks through and we're good. V1 has K♠ J♠, Not sure if we missed value.
Played OK I think. What on earth is V1 doing calling the flop
I like going for a flop XR
I would raise more pre.
1/2 pot on the flop is kind of random button clicking. Solver would probably check or bet less maybe even like 20%. I think check planning to raise a lot, or bet big have to be better here.
Turn sucks, esp. with this SPR. Both V's probably have way more than one combo. of JT, and then there's 99/Q9/98/etc. Might be fine to bet 200, if you know how to respond, but I'm fine with a check. 3x shove seems insane, but if anyone could do it profitably it's probably you.
As a benefit to check turn to bet a bunch of rivers your b/x/b line probably looks even more bluffy than a normal player and you'll get called by one pair a lot on the river.
River seems std.
It is definitely worth thinking a lot about what deuceblocker said about your betting/checking range though.
HH w/ V1: H opens A6dd, V calls BB, SRP, Flop 6-5-4 no ♦, H cbet small, V x/raises with JTo, H calls, turn 6h-5h-4s-Qs, V check H check, river 2♦, V bets 1.5x pot I call and win.
If seats are the same you are UTG vs. BB here? Hard to tell who played it worse.
HH w/ V2: H opens TT EP, nit calls IP, V calls OOP. 3-ways 2nd to act. A-3-2r V2 checks, H cbet for thin value, nit folds, V2 calls, turn 9, check check, river A-3-2-9-4, V bets 1/2 pot and we call beating his 74os.
This HH heavily implies V2 is betting flop with anything, if you check Q86.
