Tracking my results
Hi, ITT I want to keep track of my results over 2025. Currently my roll is at 4.2k I play 50 PLO, 4, 5 and 6 card, maybe
The hand histories you post for tournaments show player's stacks in BB, however for cash games the hand histories are in $. Is this the default way that GG Poker presents the information? Or said a different way, are you playing tournaments in BB, but cash in $? Or are you playing cash in BB?
All I am really trying to do is distract you and if you aren't playing cash in BB to Jedi mind trick you to change to BB. Maybe, then you will stop this obsession to over play the size of your bankroll by chasing $. If you are already playing cash in BB, then disregard this and carry on.
Everyone here is rooting for you, but only you can change you.
No I always play in BB, both tourneys and cash. Couldn't imagine doing otherwise... BBs are just easier for playing. You can choose how to display the amounts in the hand history, must have been sloppy...
I'm taking a break from poker, there's too much going on around the house here. I need my focus and mental energy for this malafide roofer, who was trying to scam my father. I live in my fathers house and he was trying to scam him out of 18k. He put up scaffolding, but damaged the roof. so now we need a proper roofer to make repairs. He still needs to remove the scaffolding though... It's a police case probably, so I really can't spend my mental energy on poker these days...
won back a bit playing 100 and 200.. a bit over EV.. roll 15681
lost a bit playing 9 tables of 200... lots under EV :/ roll 15293
drop below 15k playing like 12 tables of 200 and 100... running really cold, not flopping any hands. 14923

withdrew 5k to buy a car.... roll 9600
haven't bought a car yet... but lost more.. wasn't playing well, too many tables and stuff... need to take a break from poker altogether I think.. maybe I cash out everything try to run it up from 700 again... I dunno, just know that I lost and am not playing well... roll 8531

Variance can be be a real Bi*tch in that game, taking a breather, reducing tables or dropping down a limit for a mental reset is always helpful!

Go buy your car mate. That's the advice I can give you. Remember playing poker for profit is about improving your lifestyle. the car if its a decent one not a lemon will bring you more happiness than the idea of winning 10k playing higher stakes.
For me personally it would be hell if i have to track my daily cash results. it would shift my focus too much to result oriented thinking which is just very bad for poker for obvious reasons.
maybe try to make a weekly report of your results or make a daily report of how you played, if you played your a or b or c game etc.
i think that would be much more beneficial.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
You did this same meltdown before. The above is from almost exactly five months ago. And this was not the first or second time this played out this way. Being a hobbyist is fine, but the red flags of disrespecting a large sum of money and playing too many tables stops you from truly being happy and wealthy.
