Here's a hand I played at 2 NL on GG Poker , was this bluff too ambitious ? Maybe I should've snap raised 40 BB or just taken the L and checked ?

Additionally does anyone know of a beginner friendly coach that doesn't charge a lot and that doesn't overcomplicate the learning process?

Pre-flop you could consider 3-betting but the raiser isn't even 100 Bb, so i would have called.
On the flop betting seems a Little speewy, even you and the Bb are the one with more suited hearts, nines and sixes. Here many times you have the best hand, so don't bet, and also 2 overcards.
On the turn i would not have called: your gutshot has 3 clean outs, so your are out of odds, and also there many reverse implied odds.
(0,07 : 0,13+ 0,07x3= 0,20= 20%)
Many times you have also 6 clean outs, but i don't think is enough.

On the turn i would have choose between fold or raise, but on the later you should be ready to bet many river.

I don't know if i expressed myself really well: writing from my phone isn't easy.

Thank you for that review, that makes a lot of sense

This hand is a perfect example of why you should rarely bluff at 2NL, and also shows you why focusing on "fat value" is the exploitative way to win.

At this level, most opponents are barely thinking above the 0th level - what they have. The typical opponent will rarely fold TP or an overpair.

Trivially easy fold OTT at this level.

That said, don't post results or what your opponent held if you want accurate analysis.

In this case, while I don't think you played the hand badly, you can see how important position is.

KJo is the type of hand that is very hard to play OOP. Depending on my read on villain, I'd be tempted to call the turn and re-evaluate OTR, but folding to his turn bet is fine.

Thanks for that

I got another hand to post if anyone is up for it, got cocky and it burned me hard

Ok, so the call pre-flop is ok. On the flop i don't know if solver approves it but i like the bet: you milk every Qx and draw that wants to call. It is an exploitative way of playing low stakes. When he raises you is not doing it with air in a 4 way pot. The flop is dry, so there aren't many big draw to raise with, and you block Q and J, so, sadly, 22 is really likely. ( 3 combos of 22 and 2 of QJ)
You should Just call and see. 3 betting every KT-T9 bluffs fold. Also many worst Qx.
Most probably you'll get staked on the river and no one could blame you.
The difficoult part is that on low stakes some could even raise with Q3-J7, but it is reasonably easy to see those kind of players. You could even be against some Q2-J2.
A common leak for us amateurs is that many times we shove so that we don't have to take any more difficoult decisions: the mental pressure is high and we don't want to take any more responsabilities.

We should also consider 1 JJ combo and one QQ. Many players 3-bet preflop only KK-AA and AK.
On solver's land i'm sure is a call down all the way but at low stakes no player is balanced and when the raise is mostly for value, plus ,some times, big draws, but here there aren't many.
Also, when he raises flop your STPR is low, so you don't need to raise again: you'll be able to jam the river.

most recent hand is just a pure cooler and not posting worthy
