Glad to see you're still alive, Montebro.

What kind of times are you aiming for in the fall half marathons? Is sub 85 min in reach?

Maybe? Hopefully? Given I'm returning from a semi-significant time off in the middle of some brutal Midwest weather, it's likely I won't really have a good idea until the fall. 85 minutes is probably a pretty good target, though!

49 miles this week, including the last four days in South Carolina with dewpoints at 75 weeks above each day. The fitness is coming back, though it's hard to tell by just how much given the heat.

He is back!!! This man dont cry uncle in the summer heat!! Love it.

Thanks brother; trying to get back to it.

Had an impromptu work trip last week where I drove 12 hours combined in 24 hours, so skipped a recovery run - still ended up with 45 miles, so not terrible. Sunday's run was two hours, with five minutes threshold blocks between fifteen minutes blocks of Z2/steady - ended up a bit over 15 miles, so a decent work session all things considered. Hoping to work back up to 55-60 mile weeks in the next few weeks and hopefully continue the upward trend.

6 days of training and 47 miles this week; it would have been a 50 mile week but for the fact that I traveled back to PA/DE this week for a wedding, so the dewpoints and the booze were both way back up (above 70 most days, with two of them having much more elevation rain than I'm used to). I got a solid interval session in on Wednesday, and some hill bursts at the end of an easy run in on Friday, so a bit of quality is creeping back in.

I'll probably start logging again in earnest in July; hopefully that can be a 250 mile month and I'll get back to training in earnest.

6 days of training and 47 miles last week (not including ~11 miles of light biking with the kids), which considering there were four days with 75+ dewpoints, I will take. I had a ~90 minute track workout on Wednesday that, in combination with the conditions, cratered me for the next few days, but hopefully that won't be an issue moving forward. Going to try to ramp up the volume a bit this week assuming the weather cooperates; maybe 55 miles or so if everything goes as scheduled.

Lifted today for the first time in forever; not really worth logging, but it felt good to move some weight. Going to meet the boys at the gym tonight and run them through some light machine work to try to get them some kinesthetic awareness; they just turned 14, so it's about time. It's about 11 miles round trip for them on their bike (I'll meet them from work), so not too heavy a lift and hopefully something we can turn into a habit. They grew 5 inches and gained 20 lbs in the last year, so it seems my obsolescence is nigh.
