[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread
This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is th
Make monthly poker deposit bonuses the same as first-deposit bonuses. And reduce the cost of tickets in the store by 10 times. Current prices are horribly high, 1-3% RB.
Doubt this will be seen as it appears the rep has done a runner, but the whole bonus system needs a revamp. Largely, but not exclusively, poker players want cash bonuses , rake back, deposit bonuses - not casino credits w/ 5x playthroughs.
Well i have to say it was and interesting and brave move to suddenly send a rep after all those years not caring. A bit unfair to send someone completely new who is still learning about the state of the site and who was unaware those uncomfortable questions would inevitably come up but at least they tried.
Almost every interaction I've had with Ignition reps over the years has been like communicating with a broken/low-IQ robot. They either don't understand what you're saying, mindlessly respond with scripts, argue with you and provide the same answers repeatedly no matter how clearly irrelevant or wrong they are, etc.
They seem to exhibit no understanding of things beyond the most basic, surface level perceptions, if that. And they don't seem interested in trying.
If you tell them a bomb just landed on your house and destroyed your computer so you can't login at the moment, they will tell you you just need to clear your cookies and cache.
It can be quite maddening.
Ignition ResponsesUpdate
Hi everyone,
My apologies for the lack of communication and responses to date. I was a little overenthusiastic about the initial responses and underestimated the timelines of how long it would take for me to get specific information. This was my personal mistake. Ignition is a very large brand and we are still creating clear internal communication pipelines between all the different teams across the network and Ignition brand. We need input from the security team, pokerops, marketing, and promotions teams, as well as approval from our leadership, and then we have make sure that the information we are providing is accurate and current.
The goal of this initiative is not just to regurgitate the same standard responses as before or that you would typically receive through Customer Service, but to provide real feedback to you the players and to open more direct lines of communication to the brand. I'll freely admit that this has been a bit of a rocky start, but it is important to keep in mind that this is the worst this process will ever be and its only going to improve as we move forward with it. We aren't going anywhere.
I can also guarantee that all the comments to date have been forwarded back to the Ignition team and they are working on providing responses for early next week. From there the internal communication channels will be operational and we will be able to resume on a weekly schedule moving forward. Occasionally, your comments may receive a response faster depending on the availability of the team.
Sorry again for the lack of responses to date, but we want to make sure we are doing this right.
Looking forward to being more engaged in this space
Here's the thing. For well over 2 years now almost every table across every stake, going up to 2k, there have been 2 (or more) bots per table deploying the exact same strategy. It wasn't that long ago you could watch a few orbits and know exactly who the bots at the table were and what their tendencies were. All you needed was eyes.
Re: the security team, any 8th grader with access to Ignition's players HH capable of using ChatGPT and an excel sheet could have spent an hour analyzing the pool and realized - "holy ****, this place is infested with bots!"
They have robbed hundreds of thousands, more likely millions over the years and it leads to 2 conclusions: the poker security team is several orders of magnitude weaker than a single 8th grader with a ChatGPT subscription, or Ignition is in on it.

You should start by removing all bots and giving out compensation to players. Additionally, your desktop apps are atrocious. I run literally any other program and never crash or freeze. Only Bonition does that. You should be providing compensation for that to players (so literally everyone) instead of blaming them. Your software is complete trash. I'm sorry if this doesn't sound "nice" but the reality is you need to be doing these things at bare minimum if you expect any of the traffic you have lost to come back to your site.
Anonymous tables have turned out to be a bug, not a feature.
Easy fix:
1) all players have a unique player ID number.
2) players are forced to choose a different screen name every 24 hours (this prevents bum hunting).
3) all hand histories are available for download after 48 hours that include all player IDs (this allows the players to help police for bots, colluders, etc).
Of course, it's also possible that bots pay so much rake that they are welcomed on the site.

When you next come back, whatever you do, do not under ANY circumstances churn out any of the usual corporate BS Ignition has been saying for years about bots.... i.e. "gAmE 1nTEgritY is IMporTanT to US..... plEAse Pr0v1dE eVidENcE... tHEere is NO EVIdenCe... pLKEasE EMaiL supPorT blah blah blah blah".

The only way to get the community’s attention and respect again is to make a drastic change to the site to combat botting and collusion. Anything other than that is just noise and we won’t be interested.

I'd think he's got the point about that by now, but he's also here to help individuals with their problems, and to listen to suggestions.
Let's give him a chance. Imo, it's great that he is here and that we have direct access to valuable assistance when required.
Bovada zone has become 100% unplayable. Minuscule player fields and most of them are bots.
Cash games at 50NL and 100NL don’t seem too bad..

Who said I’m not giving him a chance? I’m giving him feedback on what the community is actually asking for.
Forgive me if I don’t share the same level of enthusiasm when his first few posts have largely consisted of repeating the same message: that the community is wrong, bots don’t exist, and collusion isn’t happening. Many users have experienced these issues firsthand, so it’s difficult to view those responses as constructive.
What I find most concerning is being told that the problems the community continues to raise simply don’t exist. Whether intentional or not, that comes across as dismissive of the experiences and concerns of the people using the platform every day.
At this point, I don’t see his involvement as particularly valuable yet. That doesn’t mean it can’t become valuable, but value will come from addressing real concerns, providing transparency, and delivering meaningful improvements—not from repeating the same talking points that users are already getting from email support.

My apologies. I should of course have said, let's give him a chance over the few weeks or so to make good his raison d'etre.
It looks like the site is down right now. The client insta closes when try to open it. If try to go through the site, it keeps asking me to log in even though I'm already logged in
Same issue.
Same for me.
Software ain't loading...wtf
Software has stopped working for me ( OZOON poker) which they changed from BODOG to OZOON earlier this year in my area.
It just does not load since the latest update, i get the pop up to allow the app and then nothing...
-I have tried un-installing re-installing
-delete the app data folder for OZOON
-putting google DNS on my network card as they suggest > I have no idea how this is a fix - it did nothing of course
-I have tried installing downloading and installing for 2 other computers just to test and the same thing happens.
their support is a joke their solution was, play from the browser, I said i want the software to multi table they said and i quote
"We actually highly advise you to play on one table to avoid having issues"
such a joke,
is anyone else using the OZOON skin having these issues ?

I have been able to 4 table on my laptop on the browser with the least amount of issues. the software download is total trash.
Why is this a surprise to anyone?
Bovada has clearly stated and implied many times that they want their poker site to be played by recreational players, not regs.
Their slogan is ‘Poker is not a grind, it is a game’..
Still down for the Canadians?
I'm usually multitabling, not sure if this occurs when 1 tabling.
Playing cash PLO .5-1 up to 2.5-5
Tiled tables
All this happens when playing in the browser, on my phone or the client
If you scroll back you can easily see I'm not the only one or just check the tables and see how often people disconnect.
Thank you for the respectful feedback and I apologize again about the delay getting back to you on the issue.
This is exactly the kind of information that the network is looking for to address issues. This has been passed directly on to the operations team at the network and they are looking into the stability of the multi-table architecture as a result.
If any changes are made to the underlying software as a result they will let me know. If you experience it again can you please private message me with one of your hand histories so they can isolate it directly.
