Preflop would be way too small in the us. Obviously raise river, but nssty if she 3!s.

What size would you use β€˜over there’?

jam

Grunch:

PRE - think we might raise bigger, but otherwise this seems fine.

FLOP - I'd probably just check back, or bet very small, like $10-$15, whatever size you'd use holding AK. I don't love your half-ish pot sizing here, especially in a low stakes game where opponents will have a ton of AX in their range.

TURN - as played, checking back seems best.

RIVER - with less than half pot left behind, I think I'd just jam. If she has a better boat, nice hand, good game.

It looks like she just has some trip A's combo. I'd think she would have bet bigger with a boat. I don't think most low stakes recs would be able to fold any AX combo that gets here this way, when she'll be getting around 3.5 to 1 to call.

3B to what? She only has around 90 left. Hero's only available raise size would be all in.

I jammed. She had AQ

Just a cooler

She was looking to checkraise the turn
If you kept betting, you might have found enough resistance and reason to dump this hand on the turn.

Once the river is a ten, you can’t get away.

As played, you didn’t lose much facing a terrible cooler. Sometimes being up against a short stack can save you a bundle.

Thought
When this player calls your flop bet, it’s always an ace. No ace, she folds. You have to keep this in mind when contemplating jamming the river. So often the river gives you false hope in this game. It’s hard to know when to be greedy

Well played river. Seriously, not sarcastically.

She happened to have a boat. She's never folding trip A's on the river. Do this 100 times, you'll win more than you'll lose.

Next time, raise bigger pre, and check back or bet smaller on the flop. You might be able to get away from your hand or lose less when V goes for value.

Otherwise, shake it off and grind on.

cbet smaller imo, u want to deny equity from KQJ, but u dont want to bet so big that u end up paying more than u need to for that effect. at some size ur isolating urself with a range thats too dense in AX. u want to get peeled by 99-

river just ship it in and go to bed. nh
