8754ds OOP v. Four Fish Limpers
Live 5/10/20
Loose game. Fish are playing all kinds of garbage.
MP fish calls 20 (2k stack)
HJ fish calls 20 (4k)
CO fish calls 20 (2k)
BTN fish calls 20 (1k)
SB [Hero] has 8754 double-suited (2k)
(BB TAG pro has 4k)
(Straddle semi-LAG pro has 2k)
If I pot, I expect all the limpers to call. Iβve been raising and 3-betting hands like this OOP. But a few people on 2+2 said this was incorrect against fish in loose live games.
Is it better to pot or limp?

I think raising this hand expecting it go multi way is a big mistake. 3bing it expecting to go heads up is fine.
I've been habitually 3-betting hands like this OOP expecting them to go multi-way. I guess I should stop.
This hand isnβt good enough period in the SB. Maybe vs a button open you can 3b it but this is a trivial fold pre otherwise.
You would only play this hand if you have an edge on the field but if you are asking what to do with the hand, then Iβd argue you donβt have an edge and should just fold this.
Fold 8754ds versus limpers!? Sacrilege...
Imagine you flop nuts say something like T96ss not your suits. You'd be in a world of pain with the nuts oop when there are gazillion bad turns/rivers.
Someone else could have the nuts with redraws. He goes pot pot pot, you go call call call? or You call then x/jam safe turns? or x/r or donk flops? You're chopping at best with the others guys nuts, but he has redraws.
We have bad position. It's alot harder to navigate such hand postflop than compared to on the button when we are in the driver seat.
If you have whales shipping it in with sets on obvious flush/straight boards, by all means go at it and try to flop nuts and stack him.
Seems like an easy call. The hand is good enough to play for half price. Potting it would be bad. I understand it doesn't play well multiway OOP, but there is no way out of that.
I think it depends a lot on postflop tendencies as well.. the hand has potential, it seems like a limp is in order if postflop players are passive and you can (over-)realize your equity.
This hand can make big draws, sometimes nuts with redraws. Call the 20 and see what happens.
