best running shoes, which one is worth buying?

I researched the best running shoes as i’ve recently started running more regularly to improve my fitness and overall health. i have been experiencing foot pain and discomfort during longer runs and my current shoes no longer provide enough support or cushioning. i went through reviews from trusted sources like reddit, runner’s world, and wirecutter and after comparing many options these two kept coming up as the top choices:

ASICS Gel-Nimbus 28 Running Shoes

Hoka Bondi 9 shoes

however, i am having trouble deciding which one would be better for me and i would love to get your expert advice and hoping maybe some experienced runners or fitness enthusiasts on this forum can also share their advice. i usually run 3–5 times a week on roads and light trails and need something comfortable, supportive, and durable. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
