Portugal is small geographically, small population. hasn't been involved in anything really for the last 500ish years

they might be currently best known for all the Brazilians who speak Portuguese... and maybe soccer?

It was 14. I went with Europe to put us over 11 and then wanted a country that wasn't too large or influential. I thought Sweden would lean too high, so it was between Portugal or Denmark.

I don't know that it's his favorite but I do know he's the leading geography expert of POG. No sarcasm intended.

Little surprised to see a 14 instead of 15, but that's a tough number.

And yeah that's a good category. Dunno about favorite, but it's up there.

I considered Denmark and thought of Thailand. I felt relatively good about Portugal.

I think they worst thing they do to humans is make you itch? i'm not sure, but I don't think they spread disease. so physically not very dangerous.

however, it is a huge pain in the ass! like you have to hire people to come and spray your home with poison. it's a whole ordeal.

and I know the spectrum isn't fear, but fear and danger are closely related, and bed bugs are terrifying

I'd tend higher, maybe 12.

You can get bites and stuff. More annoying than hurtful imo. Of course you're going to deal with but you're not in imminent danger or anything.

13 might be best for coverage. 12-14 with 11 more likely than 15 imo.
