After seeing ticket prices for the Knicks game, I immediately thought of this song.

I wasn't a fan of Rush ever touring again without Neil Peart (RIP and my drummer GOAT imho). However, I now get it watching Anika Nilles on drums. Her energy is fantastic and she's clearly a great drummer. Plus she kinda looks like Diane Kruger. So I now get why Geddy and Alex picked her. Would love to hear any TRs from anyone catching this tour live!!!!
FWIW this is the FULL live version of this song from 50 years ago for comparison (btw the full version is never played anymore).
Yeah I watched a clip of Tom Sawyer and she got an ovation for the toms part. The crowd loves her.
Geddy apparently does not even try to hit the high notes anymore and has recalibrated them to a lower octave. He still rocks on the bass.
I never liked the guitar player really, he's always been kind of a big nothing for me . Kind of like how I feel about Yes.
The Dead always rained down thunder in the Hartford Civic Center...

These mother****ers are plugged in. I'm better at listening to music than I used to be. Technically. I can now hear that this whole song is just a vamp on one minor chord. Then it goes major and then quickly to the fifth in the chorus and then back to the vamp.Modal rock.
Traffic is a really good name for a band
I'm playin number games!!
I tend to get the side eye when I quote this.
