MTT Coaching - The Kind You Actually Remember
I'm Michael, known at the tables as Phanteidos1, online MTT professional. Results include the Sunday Million win, the $530 Bounty Builder, the Thursday Thrill (twice), the Sunday Warm-Up, SCOOP and WCOOP warm-up events, and a Micro Millions title. Multiple final tables across SCOOP and WCOOP. Across stakes and formats, I've been there.
Background: 1-on-1 coaching with Jordan Drummond of BBZ, with my progress featured in a published article. Subsequently studied under Enrico Camosci, 2025 PokerStars Live League champion, and was invited into his private study group alongside some of the strongest tournament players in the world.
What I offer:
1-on-1 sessions via Zoom, 60 to 90 minutes. Hourly rate or packages available. Full MTT focus. Every student gets a tailored approach based on where they actually are and what is genuinely holding them back, whether that is solver literacy, study structure, or mental game. Hand history review, access to my own hand histories, and Discord access between sessions included.
I keep my roster small. You get real attention.
First introductory call is free, no commitment, so we can both assess whether working together makes sense.
Testimonials and sample content available on request.

Something I've noticed after years of coaching is that most players who come to me don't actually have a technical problem. They know more than enough. They've watched the videos, they've studied the solver, they understand ranges. But something keeps breaking down at the table. A spot they know theoretically but can't execute under pressure. A pattern that keeps repeating no matter how much they study.
That's where I spend most of my time with students. Not adding more theory on top of theory. Finding what's actually in the way.
I've been playing MTTs for over 20 years and I still work on this in myself every day.
It doesn't go away. But it gets clearer. And when it gets clearer at the table, everything else tends to follow.
If any of this resonates, feel free to reach out. First call is always free and there's no pitch involved. Just a conversation.
Three sessions this week.
First one: technically one of the best students I have. Knows ranges, studies daily, does everything right. Still losing. Still tilting. Still wondering why. We didn't open a solver once.
Second one: had heard the word "range" a thousand times. Never actually seen one. Twenty minutes in, something shifted. He went quiet for a second and then said "oh." That oh is why I coach.
Third one: completely lost in GTO outputs. Studying harder and getting more confused. We took everything apart and rebuilt it into something he could actually use at the table. An hour later he had a framework that will stay with him forever.
Three different players. Three different problems. One thing in common: they all thought they knew what was holding them back. They were all wrong.
If you are grinding and something is not adding up, maybe it is worth a conversation. First call is always free.
I originally hired Mike for technical work, range construction, solver integration, improving my overall GTO foundations. And yes, he delivered on all of that. My technical game moved forward meaningfully.
But the real game-changer? The mindset coaching I didn't even know I needed.
About halfway through our sessions, he started challenging the way I was processing downswings, framing mistakes, and carrying tilt between sessions. What followed was honestly some of the most impactful work I've done as a player. He helped me build a completely different relationship with variance, with bad runs, and with the mental reset between sessions. Things no solver can teach you.
I came in wanting to fix my ranges. I left with a sharper mind and a much more sustainable approach to the game. If you're a serious player looking to level up, don't sleep on the mental game side of what he brings. That's where the real edge is.
Thanks!
