The question remains on how long the NHL investigation will take and once the Stanley Cup is over will Vegas give permission to Cassidy to negotiate. You know Cassidy wants to coach and I assume Edmonton is his first choice. Sick move by Vegas if they pay him the 4.5 mill and let him sit the entire year. Vegas clearly does not want him in Edmonton a division rival

Yeah, Freddie ain’t right. Understandably. I feel bad for the guy and everyone else affected by Claude’s passing. Plus, whatever else Freddie may have going on.
They were very close. It was way more than just an agent player relationship.
From Freddie’s statement after Claude’s passing,
“Claude made an unimaginable impact on me during the more than 15 years that he was a part of my life. I almost feel sorry for people who didn’t have an opportunity to get to know him beyond his achievements and impact on the ice. As phenomenal as his hockey career was, he was an even better human being. From day one, he made me feel like I was a part of his family – treating me with care, compassion, loyalty and love as if I was his own son. He had a similar effect on members of my own family, leaving a lasting impression on every life that he touched.
