Current players will be able to modify their nicknames ? New players won't be tracked but older ones are ever tracked...

Am I wrong doesnt GG give more rakeback? These changes arent for the players. I doubt many people well play as many tables and splash pots considered rb is crazy its super high variance both ways. I will likely play somewhere else or at least drastically cut back playing on here. There aren't really many recreationals and high rake with things your told are good for you. I honestly dont like splash pots as rakeback. 15% is a joke and you are just making it harder to multitable.

Is this true? where have you seen players will be able to change their screename?

The problem is nobody knows what to abide by and what to dismiss in all these terms - it’s obvious looking at this thread everybody is asking β€œis this/that ok?” And you play with the constant threat of seizure of your funds if your interpretation of what’s allowed differs from theirs on any given day - and that’s the point that was being made right from the beginning with the situation getting further muddled every month since
There’s been very little or anything that these guys seem to be able to articulate cleanly right back to the β€œ100% rakeback” promo - and you think that isn’t by design ?

"the disable throwables entirely" does not work and has never worked. no matter any combination of that + throwables on hover can actually disable them and its been that way for a long time now.

also good news about banning huds.

It shouldn’t be a problem, given that coinpoker allows the use of a VPN.
For instance, what if someone is playing from a country where the government suddenly blocks access to coinpoker?
Players would simply need to use a VPN to access.

Can we please get clarification on if we can have DH/pt4 open whilst playing on coin, for use on other sites?

by Cubeblue m

And the VPN is in the terms as strictly prohibited - as are HUD’s, as are restricted territories - but you can ignore VPN terms, restricted territory rules but you MUST abide by HUD rules ??? Do you not see the issue here ?

No, it was a question for CoinPoker rep. At that time, you can't but it would be fair if we could. New players won't be tracked, older players could be tracked with DriveHud

by Scar18 m

yes same question for me

can we get a confirmation that having a program like Drivehud open while playing on Coin is acceptable if we have it disabled for CoinPoker (Drivehud has this functionality). This would allow me to still track and use a hud for other sites i may be playing on at the same time.

Yes, players are permitted to have HUDs running for use on other sites, provided the HUD isn't being used on CoinPoker tables.

Could you please clarify this change in the splash amounts for missions?

Were the mission values given in splash money that would go towards NL100+ or are you also using the value that would go towards NL50+?

I am an NL50 player and I received a mission to play NL100+ but I won't be playing, does this money become "dead" and you include it in the reward calculation?

Just need to share this experience with support because someone needs to do better. I have been enjoying this site much more than GG or ACR lately so I'm disappointed with this support response.

Yesterday, I took 3-4 beats within 20mins of each other (quads lost to rivered straight flush as the highlight & coin has no bbj) & rage quit the coinpoker desktop app by closing the client while I was still seated at tables (my mistake). Later that night I logged back in to check the damage from the day & noticed my balance was much lower than I had thought. When going through the transaction history I noticed 3 tables still had "pending buy-out" on them with no log of "left table".

Since it had been roughly 8 hours I contacted support with 3 screenshots of the transaction history & within 10mins I received a response from an agent named "Kost" who stated the following:

When I woke up this morning the balance was the same & transaction history for the tables still showed "pending buy-out" so I sent support a detailed email with screenshots & reference numbers showing these tables never cashed out into my balance & were still stuck. A couple of hours later I logged back into Coin to see if anything had changed & was prompted with an update that was rolled out so I downloaded/installed it.

Once I logged back into the desktop app after the new update all of a sudden 3 tables popped up with me seated at them with my funds still there. I was able to close them & the tables properly cashed out so my funds were returned.

Why is your support agent replying to say there's no problem when clearly there was one? My initial email to support contained 3 screenshots of the tables that had been stuck for nearly 8 hours. He replied within 10mins which is exceptionally fast but this suggests he didn't do anything more than look at my current balance then decide there was no problem when this is about funds that haven't been returned. I'm only a 10nl player but this does not give me confidence in pursuing trying to play higher. If I ever have another funds-related problem, am I going to receive another lazy response telling me there's no problem when I clearly provide evidence of one?

I shared my positive experience with Coin earlier ITT so please do better. Lazy support agents shouldn't be a thing when discussing lost funds when you are the custodian of them.

disallowing huds is overall good for any online poker ecosystem, and posters on 2p2 complaining about it isn't really a negative tbh. the games are tough enough.

I'm having trouble with this. I wish to use H2N4 for the other sites which allow it while playing coin poker but coin will not let me play as long as H2N4 is running.

Not true at all, and its a hill i die on after living through potripper and countless other scandals discovered by players through data analysis. The site has its own built in hud, but you say dem Huds is bad.... Now data collection has been removed as a tool but we still have the in game hud.... If you guys only knew what an ecology bot was how difficult they are to spot minus a database; their effects on the poker economy as a whole is worlds worse then misreg with his own hud... you would all be begging for huds to come back and half decent regs to point out discrepancies..

But no, youd rather play slots or video poker dressed up as online poker where the winners get taxed and loser get redistribution of rewards and ecology bots. Coin was looking like a real pure site, letting poker be poker, the first one in a few years before all these changes.

And if youre not winning dont sit down at 2pm on Tuesday again 5 eastern euro regs, stick to friday/sat nights... removing a hud aint going to change dam thing for your WR, as i stated may drop it even more.

to each their own. the sites i did the best on were Global and Bovada before the bot invasions. I don't think it's a coincedence.

latest update sucks...i dont want the stupid soccer field forced on each table open and i no longer can right click my chip stack and toggle between chips and bb

also if i have the client open over night and then register a tournament the whole program glitches out and freezes...it only happens if ive had the program open without playing for hours

by acescracked84 m

Getting closer.... almost there. Why do you think the bots exist and continue,.... Bodog or bovada as they call it now went a whole step further with dynamic ids which also blocks data analysis. And who do you think is deploying those bots without consequence?

by acescracked84 m

to each their own. the sites i did the best on were Global and Bovada before the bot invasions. I don't think it's a coincedence.

Definitely some important context missed here. On Bovada you could only play 4 tables with an extremely large time bank. Global still operates, but is based on another whole model. Also on Bovada you could have a hud, just only for the session. You could even argue bots became an issue, because the proof could of been more easier documented to customer support. I personally would rather have the HUD, the games are nothing special on here most the time. It seemed the majority on here wanted huds, the less tables you can play I can see warranting a hudless approach, they have essentially 2 hour rake races. This is where they want you to multi table, but it's just next to impossible to see everything without a hud playing a lot of tables. If your only playing 2 or 3 games I'm sure is very easy to follow.

You can probably just try it on your own and see what happens.

They have the power to completely lock out their software from me playing because I had team viewer INSTALLED (not running, TM services disabled), they can probably do the same thing to DriveHUD or PT4 etc. if/when they want.

I play with drive hud and it doesnt work with coin and coin has been working fine

Also when chopping hu there needs to be more of a notice on the table or in the lobby. Just chopped a tourney and it gave a super fast notice that the deal went thru but the other guy didnt see it and wasnt sure what was going on. The lobby still had the original payouts and there was nothing about the deal except the deal button was gone. Would be nice if it updated payouts as soon as the deal is done.

Mite be over soon.

This hud change slightly lower winrates for regs.

When they change the rakeback system which everyone is anticipating then its gg imo. Just ggpoker 2.0.

Was a fun 3 or 4 months w.e it was

You mean ggpoker -2.0 cause it doesn't even compare to gg.

The new owner or whoever is behind coin destroyed the site.

How did they destroy it?

The only bad thing right now is they removed huds. My rakeback since april is like 90% and the software is decent. The games have been decent. Lots of fish. Im not sure what infused splashpots were or how good/bad these missions will be for rb tho?

My point was, once a site starts basing every decision on muh ecosystemz it just leads to GGPoker
