Netflix "Watch Instantly"

I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream

Yup, yup. In particular the beginning of that scene where the window explodes so viloently it feels like you are in the car. But you knew she was coming from the set up of that scene. Still good.

Power Ballad is a keeper and nearly a tear jerker. Had the ending gone the way it looked like it was going to, it would have renewed faith in mankind. Still the ending was good, and probably more realistic. A late night impromptu drunken jam session produces a smash hit, and the original writer finds himself on the outs in terms of rights.

Didn't like Disclosure Day very much. 5 out of 10. The subject is so good and potentially so dramatic, that I just don't think the film captured it well. With Spielberg to boot, seems like it could have been epic. Instead the incredible drama of such a thing seems to fizzle with some lightweight treatment of it.

I didn't like it much either. It felt like movie with almost no ideas, which was very unsatisfying for a sci-fi movie.

I am just coming back from seeing it : I was never emotionally invested in the movie, nor was I captivated for one bit, but I did (rationally) think of it as a solid/decent movie.

Maternal Instinct on Netflix... WTF?

Thanks. Good watch.

The comments I read before watching were that it just continued to get more and more insane the whole way. Those comments were correct.

I went in blind not knowing any details of the story, other than it was wild.

I guess I could have assumed how she ended up with a fetus on the way to the hospital, but it was still mind blowing.

She has some serious mental issues. It’s sad for her. Sad for everyone affected. Just a really sad story overall.

Parental issues always seem to be a main theme of these crime documentaries.

Full 10 episode drop tomorrow morning of season 2 of The Agency on Paramount+.

And of course, the season premiere of House of Dragon season 3.

watched S2 episodes 1-3 last night it really is a good series , the orignal was great but this is up there as well for me

great storyline

Looking forward to The Agency. Rewatched S1 fairly recently, bit slow at times, but still really good. The original, The Bureau, is probably a top 5 show for me.

Maternal Instinct on Netflix... WTF?

WTF indeed

I finished Testaments. Very similar to early seasons Handmaids Tale. For old times sake, they even throw in a June scowl a couple times.

I look forward to season 2!

finished S2 the agency was great 😀

There is a lot of good stuff coming in the next few months.

Sometime in July finally The Savant on Apple, it was set to premiere last year and delayed after Charlie Kirk assassination as this is along those lines.

July 12th The Westies MGM+

July 15th Lucky on Apple with Anya Taylor-Joy

July 31st Fightland from 50 Cent.

August 19th Average Joe season 2 on Paramount+ no trailer yet this is season 1.

Sept 8th The Drop a Snowfall Saga FX

Average Joe was WAY better, and darker, than I expected. Deon is such a laid back and chill comic that I didn’t expect the plot to go where it did. Can’t wait for season 2

Everyone was expecting it but not how it happened. I think people were expecting a more subtle “there she is” and not the speed and violence with which she breached the car.

I knew immediately I wasn’t gonna love it. 6/10

That’s as evil as it gets. Wade has to be dumb as a stump. The last two things I have watched are Obsession and Maternal Instinct. I’m gonna stay away from the ladies for now.

Well yeah, it's not real.

Just watched the latest Star City episode. They sure know how to make you hate a character!

I finally caught up with the latest season of Gangs of London on AMC+, it's pretty much nonstop murder and torture the whole way thru and the plot lines and sequences are pretty silly sometimes but somehow its very engaging and entertaining. lol

wait, season 2 of The Agency is already out??

Me too. I think it was the down home beginning -- one guy with some stuff going on instead of massive governmental involvement -- that ruined the tone right off the bat. They kind of set it up like "Storm Chaser, " or something. Like watch this solo bumpkin dude deal with the problem. Weak.

Just saw a decent serial killer flick that featured the Notre Dame fight song as a theme song for the sicko killer. What was the movie?
