GGpoker accidently doxed everyone
IF you had an anonymous account on gg you were recently doxxed if because everyone's profiles were linked to their wsop page with their real name. This included global and ring fenced areas (which in my case everyone lives in a 1 hour drive area so its a little more sketchy).
As someone who has been harassed by recs i have beaten online at least two times including on this forum this is not ideal. but I wasn't really completely anonymous but many people were until now. They did fix it in client after 12-24 hours but by googling my real name or my poker name it still links to a wsop page with both my name and poker id.
I had kind of given up on the long term anonymity in online poker but I didn't expect gg to accidently speed run it.

ya 17 years ago in a dead thread that admins refuse to delete that I asked after I started getting stalked.
what's that have to do with anything?. its not about me... Everyone in the entire site got doxed bro

I think their obliagated to put out some sort of press release. IM just guessing but privacy regs and such

They have since fixed it but the internet is forever the wayback machine exists plus it could have been data mined. kind of reminds me of the PlayStation hack

Sometimes these "accidents" are paid for and the site is much better off claiming it was a mistake. No idea if true here.
If you make good money there, you just forgive anything.
If you bet kk intro trup qq like a moron you must expect a rec to call you out
the prosecution rests its case.
This also happened in the ontario ring fenced gg poker. funny enough everyone lives within an hour of each other so ya that might be a bigger problem then row where your not neighbors. someone asked for examples. you could read my other thread about gg poker to see one of my stalkers
That was one hell of a thread and a creepy way to get a message to an opponent. My favourite post was G.W Bush and the Pope sitting at a table playing poker with that phrase.
