The regulars around here have wanted a less-strict moderating forum for a while now. Not my cup of tea but I manage.
I do point out the-old-rule to a few posters when they step over that line in the sand in-my-opinion but typically the new management/owners don't seem to care about civility.
I suggest wearing a comfortable pair of panties.
To be fair, I think a lot of the “less-strict” complaints came during the Crossnerds day’s. She way over modded. I do prefer it the way it is now. I think people should be allowed to express their personalities. People do have the option to put others on ignore. I personally couldn’t imagine being that emotionally fragile but some people are. I know SPeeRM often brags about having me on ignore. It would be best if he left me permanently on ignore. You talk about living rent free in someone’s mind lol!

Thanks for replying, good to know. When it was bought from Mason there was a "civility only, zero tolerance personal attacks" , guess that didn't last lol
I think because there are maybe a few dozen people that post here and most of us can take/dish an insult it may be more tolerated.
If we tried taking the same attitude to another subforum like NVG it wouldn’t be tolerated.
