When I get sat on an empty table, like clockwork, a 30bb stack sits and a second or two later a 100bb stack sits. This is a constant pattern that possibly aligns with bot system that's been apparent the 5 plus years I've been playing here. Sometimes I still sit and play in hopes a few humans join but I'd still like an explanation?

Thanks for flagging this issue and I apologize for the delay on getting you a response. We are still working out the kinks to this process.

The 100BB player that sits down immediately, is most likely a coincidence based on the table availability, and available players. 100BB is the maximum buy-in allowed so a lot of players optimize for this. Additionally, the network’s software randomizes table selection so players are unable to isolate and target individual tables you are seated at.

However, the 30BB stack is an anomaly and it is the first time the poker operations team at the network has been made aware of this as a recurring issue for an individual player. They would like to investigate it further if you could provide a little bit more information. What stakes and format are you typically playing when you notice this trend? And can you please send me a direct message with a hand history so they can isolate the 30BB player in question.
Thank you

Make monthly poker deposit bonuses the same as first-deposit bonuses. And reduce the cost of tickets in the store by 10 times. Current prices are horribly high, 1-3% RB.

Thank you for the suggestions and apologies it has taken this long to reply. We (Ignition) are currently in the process of reviewing our rewards program at all player levels and comments from the players like this genuinely help inform our decisions. When I have more information I will pass it on here

To ignition support, no one buys that bots get banned. You can find sites actively advocating for it if you look and it's not that hard of a challenge. Bovada has lost their customer base due to lack of transparency. You can literally watch videos of multiple pcs playing in the same room. I believe at this point you have damaged your own reputation so much everyone needs us

Apologies on the delay getting back to your post. We (Ignition & the PWL network) are fully aware of the videos that circulated earlier this year on X. The network’s security team completed a full forensic audit of the images and it was determined that these videos were captured from multiple years ago despite being promoted as a recent event. The players involved in this incident were fully investigated, had their accounts permanently banned and had their funds redistributed to the players impacted. We fully understand and appreciate the risk that bots represent to the network and broader online poker industry. We can’t guarantee that the network will have a 100% bot free environment at all times, no online poker platform can. But we can guarantee that we are treating the risk seriously, making investments where they matter most, and taking action when we discover new threats.

For broader context, the network has implemented a new R+F team over the past 18 months, and are working with players who have played at the professional level. This new R + F team are actively building, acquiring, and improving our suite of tools continually. We’re not perfect, but we’re doing everything we can to get better every day. We will require the players assistance in navigating this new era of online poker and reports from players like the one above who mentioned the 30BB “hunting” behaviour is exactly the kind of intel that gets passed on to the Poker Fraud team for analysis.

Consistency with the mtt schedule would be awesome it seems to always be changing

Thanks for leaving this feedback. Knowing our players opinions on our tournament structure helps us better tailor the experience to their preferences. I will pass this directly on to the poker operations team. Is there any particular format, or buy in level you would like to see more/less of or is it just consistency in general?

The reason you may be seeing some more variance in the mtt schedule lately is due to a shift in our approach. We have received a lot of feedback regarding on mtts and as we turn a corner as a poker room, the new team is looking for opportunities to address pain points such as late reg length, tournament length, stake & format distribution and more. We are striving to offer a fun, modern, and player-focused schedule fit for today’s poker player

In order to do so, we have to test, iterate, and innovate. Players should expect to see many more changes coming down the pipeline, with an entirely newly defined poker series format coming in early fall.

However we understand players’ want for something predictable, and are always open to feedback about our changes. Any good tournament schedule is a living entity, and we’re looking forward to evolving together with our players.

You experience the same two player chip stacks? 100BB & 30BB?

This would be great feedback to send to the network to support the original player comment. Especially you have a hand history available where it occurred

Is there any way to know the amount of players playing online? Interested in comparison to other US sites.

@IgnitionCommunity

Why canadians aren't able to use the client lately? Is there any ETA for the fix?

First time in months the hand history feature actually worked while playing, I hope this is a permanent fix.

Would you guys consider engaging with some data oriented members of the community that has compiled data re: bots? 6m cash games for at least 3 years have had at least 2x bots per table and had some of the most blatantly obvious non human behaviours, and then would never adjust. I'd like to stay respectful here and I understand you're the middle man - not trying to yell at you personally, just have a lot of frustration over this issue.

There have been a number of tells, tells that have been posted in here and other bot threads on 2p2 regarding the weaker variant of bot that used to exist as recently as in the spring, and they have now patched their strategy to the point of being more exploitable than some fish to deploying a perfect blend of GTO and MDA. This goes a lot deeper than simply buying in for 30bb/100bb at the same time, although even now they're still constantly buying in at the same time which is such surface level behaviour that should have already been flagged... right?

My point with all of this is that there are blatant and obvious schemes and tells that bots have, even now as they have becoming better at disguising, that any proper security team should have spotted. It seems weird security wise that pairs of players can have the literal exact same frequencies and timings over thousands of hands and not be flagged.

by IgnitionCommunity m

Thank you for the respectful feedback and I apologize again about the delay getting back to you on the issue. This is exactly the kind of information that the network is looking for to address issues. This has been passed directly on to the operations team at the network and they are looking into the stability of the multi-table architecture as a result. If any changes are made

Thanks for your reply! Since a week or so it seems much better, no freezing or disconnecting.

Could you also please pass along the following feedback:

When a player loses their stack or times out on a decision, they automatically sit out and remains sitting out until reaching the big blind (or posting an early blind). This is particularly problematic on a site that does not offer auto-reload like Ignition/Bovada.

It would be great if players were automatically dealt back in the next hand after sitting out.

We (Ignition & the PWL network) are fully aware of the videos that circulated earlier this year on X.

The issue goes far deeper than just a viral video. SnapMDA has catalog thousands of bots on your site and nothing is being done about it. Your players are an incredibly valuable asset. If security is unable to detect a large amount of bots, then you should outsource some of that labor to us. The only way this site gets cleaned up is if players are deanonymized in hand histories after a set amount of time. We want to police your games FOR FREE.

Echoing this. It seems to be a recent problem as of the past few months because i don’t remember this happening before. Very annoying if you get stacked on the button bc you have to sit through multiple hands before rejoining.

anything between 100-500

Has anyone logged into in the Ozoon client?

Thank you for all of the feedback to date. Many of you have raised legitimate concerns and we will address each individually, but before we continue that process we want to provide a little context about the state of Ignition online poker in 2026.

Ignition vs The PWL Network:
This is something we have not been great at clarifying or acknowledging in the past and we would like to clear it up so our players can have better understanding of how we operate. While nothing here will come as a surprise to many of you, we hope it helps provide better context to our operation.

Ignition is a brand that runs on a larger poker network called PWL. We operate in close partnership with the PWL network through providing player feedback, making suggestions, and helping promote the network’s overall recreational model. We both fully believe in and support the recreational player model philosophy, that prioritizes recreational players as the foundation for creating a strong poker ecosystem. The network optimizes for recreational player’s comfort and safety through things like anonymous player names, delayed hand histories, limits on multi-tabling, and randomized seating that limit the use of HUD tracking overlays. The other brands on the Network also support this philosophy and operate on this same PWL network as Ignition. By operating on a larger network it allows Ignition players to compete across a larger player base, ultimately leading to a more robust poker product with larger prize pools.

The PWL network is responsible for creating and operating the software and underlying security, whereas the Ignition brand is responsible for creating a unique player experience, rewards program, and bonus infrastructure.

While people like me don’t speak on behalf of the network, we are able to communicate player feedback directly to them and gather responses they would like shared. In the last 18 months the PWL network has bolstered their security spend and implemented a new Research and Fraud team, who are working directly with players who have played at the professional level, and are actively developing / improving / and acquiring a new suite of tools to combat bots and collusion, especially as the emergence of AI adds a new layer of complexity. The relationship with poker players at all levels is essential for creating a robust poker network, and is why we (Ignition and the PWL network) continually ask for specific cases that you have encountered so we can pass on the information directly on to the PWL’s security team to assess. Moving forward in our responses we will be making the distinction between Ignition and the PWL network clearer so players can have a better understanding of how their feedback helps support the overall development and security of the network.

Bots & Collusion:
Collusion: This is, and has always been a major pain point for online poker, but this issue is more easily detected and dealt with by the network’s implementation of advanced player algorithms. Heat maps, unorthodox betting patterns, account similarities, and chip stack monitoring are prime examples of some of the ways the network can detect collusion. A common misconception is that the anonymous player names prevents the network from identifying players. The software implements anonymous player names for display to the players only. Internally, all player information is visible and accessible to the network at all times. Anonymous tables have no effect internally on identifying and taking action against players who engage in these practices which is done on a regular and dynamic basis.

Bots: This is another area that to date, we have not been good enough at communicating to players. So let us have the open, adult conversation. Bots are real, every poker network is actively dealing with them, and in the industry is always evolving and collaborating on ways to protect players. We can’t promise we will have a 100% bot free product all the time. No online poker platform can. What we can promise is that we will do everything in our power to identify, and remove threats as they come and to commit to keeping you (the player) updated as we continue on this journey.

From the network’s side, they have invested significant resources in the past 18 months into redesigning their research and fraud teams specifically to address these new threats. Despite some of the louder narratives circulating, the PWL network is making strides in these areas. We (Ignition & the PWL network) aren’t perfect, but we are taking these threats extremely seriously, the long-term viability on online poker depends on it. We (PWL network) are investing heavily in our security infrastructure to address early detection from these new attack vectors, and we will rely heavily on you the player base to help us as we move forward into this new era of online poker. We are here, and ready to face it head on.

We openly welcome your reports and rely on them as a key resource for the defense of the network, and want affirm to you that they will always be fully investigated thoroughly, but we understand that anonymous tables can heighten the perception that something unusual is happening. As we move forward in the fight against bots, we will be looking into creating a more refined response group for players who would be willing to help provide feedback suggestions on a recurring basis for where they are encountering these bot instances and to help identify bugs in the software. We don’t have a timeline on this project yet, but it is very much a priority for us and is another way we will be trying to keep you the players better informed about the measures we are taking. if you would be interested in assisting, please reach out in my direct messages.

Updates:
This has been an area that Ignition has been historically poor at communicating. While we can’t always disclose specific internal security updates the network has made. We can certainly be better at communicating the regular improvements, tournament restructuring, and hot fixes we are making. Ignition is actively looking at and exploring and revamping ways to improve the overall player experience and rewards programs for players in 2026, while the PWL network is continually looking at ways to improve the quality of life poker features and underlying security and performance infrastructure. Your feedback in these areas actively helps Ignition and the network identify and introduce these improvements. As we introduce these changes moving forward we will be better at updating you the players. Here are a couple of the more recent changes we made that you might have missed.

September 16th 2025 – A major update to our late registration architecture to prevent stacking late registration entries on the same tables – tables are now rebalanced throughout and after the late registration period

Oct 2025 – Improving the stability and availability of the hand history download service, along with minor user experience upgrades – granted, we’re aware there was a bug affecting the Download All feature, that has recently been patched

Feb 2, 2026 – Adjusted bet decision time to provide faster gameplay & reduce stalling, while still offering players time to think in tough spots via an extended timebank

Q1 2026 – Improved flow when disconnected from table in specific circumstances, players will now see messaging that prompts them to log back in and confirms reconnection. Previously players needed to find this out themselves.

Q1 2026 – An improvement to the way the Download Client is delivered and installed, which results in fewer players getting stuck in update loops

May 28th, 2026 – Small visual update to the display of tournament buy ins to reflect the buy-in and tournament fee as a single number; fee info is always available in the specific tournament’s lobby

We hope this context helps shed some light on some of the bigger questions you have identified. We know we have work to do to gain the trust of the player base and this won’t be a quick process, but we wanted to reiterate that we are here, and we are listening. We will continue to address your questions and concerns directly, we just felt at this moment in time, that there was a much overdue explanation of where the state of Ignition poker sits in 2026

*You also may want to keep an eye on our tournaments in the fall for the rollout of some of these more long term quality of life improvements

Nothing is being done about clear collusion in sit and goes, specifically double up and triple up sngs. I have provided clear evidence of chip dumping and soft playing between players. At what point do you actually ban players and compensate affected accounts?

Hi Travo,

Thank you for the HH and information around the sit n goes. Please check your messages for the responses and see the above post regarding the relationship between the Ignition brand and larger PWL poker network. The information has been escalated to the network team

Actions speak louder than words.

I still cannot run the downloadable client without freezing multi tabling. The web browser also freezes sometimes in the middle of hands. I never have this occur on any other site or app. Will this ever be fixed?

by Travo m

Actions speak louder than words.

But do they speak louder than AI generated words?

Can you plz address my question and escalate to the PWL network the Ozoon client issue?
PWL is losing a lot of revenue because Canadian aren't able to play since 8 days

Also, is the bug hunting still in place in the PWL network?

The types of vulnerabilities that we reward the highest for are critical vulnerabilities, such as remote code execution, access to server source code or data, and cheating on games leading to financial gain. Payouts are not made for Informational or Low severity issues; only Medium and above.

If we can provide proof of bots are we eligible?
