Math of Poker can be much better

I come from a pure math background, and I am really frustrated by this book.

The contents are great, but the authors rarely define the terms they use. Many terms come out of nowhere, and I have to consult ChatGPT all the time.

Even when they define things, it's not well-defined. For example, their definitions of prob, equity, showdown value, and ex-showdown value are very hard to understand. It's just not clear and lacks examples.

Does anyone know if there is any other book with better mathematical rigor or just a better definition of terms?
