Sorry, but alcoholism and drug addiction are diseases as well, and share a fair number of characteristics with morbid obesity.
As for the WSOP broadcast coverage, I'm in the group that's grown tired of the daily NLHE telecast. I imagine that today we'll get the final table of the $10K mystery bounty. If we're lucky, they'll do plenty of switching to the $25K PLO high roller. And it's a shame that all of the $10K champion events in the mixed disciplines are being almost completely ignored.

The "affluenza teen" case refers to Ethan Couch and he killed 4 and injured multiple others while drunk driving at 16 years old.
that affluenza defense worked as he only got 10 years' probation.

I don't find him funny or entertaining in the slightest and don't understand how he gets gigs in the industry. If I have to hear "hello my babies" one more ***** time.....

Hes awful. Its incredible that him and Hartigan have been commentating for 2 decades and still suck at poker. His schtick got old 18 years ago.
Hartigan is worse though; at least Stapleton doesnt pretend to be very good at poker. Hartigan cant stop lamenting the "chat pros" when some live donk makes a terrible play and gets called out by the chat. The guy has had a front row seat at good poker for 20 years and his best live cash is 7k.

Anyhow, without knowing and looking at schedule it seems like they would only be showing the final table which is a travesty compared to prior years

Blez said during one of his streaming nights that he would be back to do commentary for the PPC. I don't remember him saying how much of the tourney he'd be covering though.
