SW off to great start for 26% owned in the milly.

Bryson only 4% owned?

the old 41-29--70 for Keith Mitchell

this thing has turned into The Rocket Mortgage Classic

Going to be carnage tomorrow I think. Course set up easy to because they were concerned about the wind.

Players with late tee times today caught a huge break. Depending on conditions tomorrow will be interesting to see the wave breakdown of guys that make the cut.

Ding! Just listened to a pod from a reporter on the grounds and he said the same thing. Pin placement and greens easier today due to wind concerns. Doesn’t think that will last.

yday's breakdown

Deshamblow has turned into a bum

Had some potential yesterday with a Clark, Rahm, Fleetwood, DJ line up.

More carnage this afternoon. Noway the cut line stays at +5

+5 currently T83 with top 60 and ties making the cut. Might get to 5, wouldn’t surprise me if it’s at 4. If it moves to +6(currently T98) I’m expecting hurricane damage in the area.

I'm pretty far behind. Just saw him on 15. LOLDJ indeed. He hates sand!

line currently at +4, several notable players outside looking in

59% chance the Cut is +3 right now

Yup, I was wrong.

Bad day for me. Had a lot of Rahm,Bryson, koepka. No 6/6 this week.

I'm picking Morikawa for the win.

I'm wondering why these guys don't sacrifice a little distance off the tee and play it safer. That fescue is a score killer.

here comes Scottie!

what a majestic fairway wood

hello, a titanic tip of the Γ…berg crown

I didn't bet Ăberg this week. Figured he was a lock to win. I missed the meltdown.

crazy how much vitriol Clark received from the Long Island golf "fans" on Sunday

was rather pathetic and another bad look for New York golf

Another great exhibit for the "shrink the game" crowd.

It wasn't pretty getting it in the barn, but Clark did it. 2-time US Open champion is a pretty high bar, and really didn't feel like a year ago that he would get back to this spot. He's missed more cuts than he has made top 25's in 19 majors. Interesting if he breaks 2.5 major o/u, I say no.

Wasn't particularly rooting for him but the crowd did make it easier. Just didn't want Burns so I was happy.

Nothing will change but I think the USGA needs a new approach on the US Open rotation.

Getting Pebble next year and another two more times in the next 10 years, which also includes two Pinehurst #2 stops, Riviera, and return to Oakmont.

At the very least they should nix annual tour stops at courses that are hosting majors in the same season. Cancel the AT&T and Genesis in the years Pebble and Riv host. Getting a little fatigue seeing these courses repeatedly. But I'd rather not see Pebble at all in the rotation.

Talking heads on The Golf Channel were ripping Long Islanders about all this and they're accurate. Very few issues, even at Ryder Cups, at other venues even in big cities like last month in Philly.

Of course there were horrible issues at Bethpage and the Ryder Cup last fall, but there have been issues at Bethpage going back to it's first Major in 2002 when they were all ragging on Sergio.

It's just embarrassing not only as golf fans but as human beings. People anymore just think they get to say whatever whenever with zero repercussions. A swift kick in the nuts for all these people could possibly change this. πŸ˜ƒ

No more daily fantasy on draftkings for Albertans in Canada. I guess I'll never win a milly contest :/

well said ntnBO

also well said by Golf's James Colgan:

Shinnecock’s U.S. Open crowd debacle shouldn’t have surprised us
