Korea Cash games / tournaments
Are either of these stops worth checking out for a 10/20 cash player who likes PLO a lot?

I've been in Jeju in 23 for the WPT. They play in KRW, I played what was like 4/8 NL after conversion or something IIRC. That game at least was pretty good, lots of chinese degens, and there were higher games available. I think Koreans are not allowed to play there.
The rake was pretty brutal though, 10% capped at 5 BB or something like that, don't recall exactly but it was bad. Also they didn't have enough tables, you had to be there early, in the evening they had Macau-like waitlists. The cash game area was like less than 10 tables in a small corner which looked like it would be there always, the tourney area was huge and probably makeshift.
Aside from that it was fine, I was there in July, it was a little too hot, September should be fine I guess. Forgot the name, I guess it is in the same place, not aware of any other casinos on that island, it was one huge complex with the casino UG in a mall, two or three hotels directly connected and some family water park, so you don't need to leave there for anything, but the island is nice. Better book some tours or something tho, they don't speak much English. Basic Korean phrases for the taxi driver etc. are helpful. Also change KRW in advance, I recall I wanted to get more KRW at some point but both the casino and the ATMs were ripoffs.
I've never been to Seoul I would guess it's kind of similar, maybe easier to get around with English.
The Triton in Jeju is definitely worth considering if you're serious about PLO. Triton brings high-level action and decent field depth, plus Jeju's got that resort vibe which makes it easier to grind without burning out. The downside is Triton typically runs bigger than 10/20—you’re probably looking at mixed games that start higher, and the PLO games might skew toward 25/50 or bigger depending on the series structure. But if you can move up or if they run softer side games, it's a real opportunity. It’s a bit like approaches you see on houseofjackcasino where the real edge often comes from choosing the right tables and conditions rather than just the format itself. In both cases, game selection and bankroll discipline matter more than just showing up to action. If the environment is right, the opportunity tends to take care of itself.
