I thought Rococo started going downhill right around the time he argued that you were more likely to encounter a grizzly bear in NYC than a paid protester, and you really aren't.

Time catches up with all us unfortunately.

Spot on. I had to look it up, but this post is true. And Rococo was the joke punch bag of that thread for about a half dozen posts afterwards.

LOL. As I suspected, that was deliberate hyperbole for effect. I might just as easily have said "unicorn" as "grizzly bear." Do you honestly think that I thought there was anything more than a winning Powerball chance of encountering a grizzly bear in NYC?

What I think is that multiple people over the last two days have confirmed you have turned into a yapping poster.

All 2 of them?

I haven’t seen a single on topic post from you on this forum, but you’re here criticizing the contributions of someone who frequently contributes relevant, on-topic posts that are well-received.

Why exactly would anyone care about your opinion when we don’t even know who you are and you don’t exactly post anything here?

you're being unfair, he makes one post regarding normal skepticism and you jump all over him over a year later while ignoring half this forum posts inane stream of conscious garbage multiple times a day

if gorg or trolly made that post it would have been one of the best posts they had all year - it's unfair to criticize him for normally being awesome

Not only that, but making a mountain over an offhand silly comment molehill is pretty ridiculous.

People should be ashamed of having a pop at someone who puts considerable effort and thought into most of his posts.

Imo, it's not 'people' It's someone with multiple accounts.

Rick, jal, bigger, geezer and crd,

I appreciate your comments, and I'm glad that people with diverse political opinions think my posts add value to the forum, but there is really no need. There is no reason why I should be to everyone's taste, and people obviously are free to disagree with me, dislike me, or even hate me. When someone here dislikes me, I usually know why. In this case, I truly do not. But it's not a big deal.

In Rococo's defense it was determined that there had been a black bear in Albany once.

Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom tv show would have informed Rococo that there are black bears and not grizzly bears in New York. Zoologist Marlin Perkins and naturalist Jim Fowler would both be sad.

Rococo's posting turned to **** ever since his claim that rice freezes poorly.

I confess to user error on that one. I was extrapolating from my own efforts.

I don't need Wild Kingdom, although I was an avid watcher as a kid ("Mutual of Omaha is people you can count on when the going's rough.") I have seen black bears in New York state.

The Republican House speaker abandoned all subtlety, promising to
protect the White House from oversight if the GOP holds on to its majority.

Grizzly bears in New York

I hear about a bear market on Wall Street from time-to-time.

The "bull market" has a statue on Wall Street. But there is no bear statue on Wall Street proving yappy Rococo wrong there too about the lack of bears in New York.

Oh wow, so you’re saying bears in New York are rare? Rococo would be really stupid if he used a figure of speech implying they were common then

I've already provided proof of grizzlies in NYC. I would posit there is a non-zero chance that one could escape and wander down a street.

Extrapolate further, please. There is a fanboy group closing their ranks and circling their wagons to unite as a group and take a defensive posture in response to an external threat, criticism, or crisis. Mind you a pissed off tiger might jump out of a zoo enclosure, but are one of these three grizzly bears more likely to break free and walk down the street or is it more likely to find a paid agitator in New York? Yapping Rococo seems highly confused at which is more likely.

I'd like to call you an idiot, but that would be rude so I won't express that thought out loud.

IRONY ALERT!!!

This whole derail began and continues because of ad hominem attacks on Rococo, you ding-dong!

by ladybruin m

Eh. in a race without an incumbent, there is always a real chance that a presumptive leader for one party's nomination (e.g., Vance, VP or Rubio SoS) will implode for whatever reason. If Vance and Rubio imploded, the GOP race would be very open and the ONLY person besides Trump to receive 2024 GOP primary delegates was Haley. The chart has the dem side other people baked in re
