Thomas and Gorsuch's dissent is a bit of a weird one. It actually reads like they think Trump's orders are unconstitutional anyway. They just don't agree with the majority's interpretation of categorical "if born in US => citizen" and thinks there are instances were that may not need to apply (very likely with birth tourism in mind). Their dissentsays if parents live in the US and calls US home, even if illegally, then their kids born in the US are fairly born citizens. IMO, their rationale offers more consitutional protection than Kavannaugh's concurring opinion. To be frank, domicile (even if illegal) as a test for "subject to the jurisdiction" is not a novel theory.
Alito's dissent is just pure non-sense, trying to invent a new meaning to the phrase subject to the jurisdiction thereof. That "would a foreign government claim the child as its own" is a total non-sense test. The Chinese government claims pretty much everyone of Chinese descent to some extent and the Israeli government likely claims all Jews to some extent for examples. Alito's logic would therefore say Chinees Americans (Singaporean, a lot of Malaysian, and a whole of others) and Jewish Americans dont' quality for birthright citizenship.

Like I said, I’m willing to listen to why campfirewest is ok with testicle-havers competing in women’s athletics. I want to defend the integrity of women’s athletics, and currently believe those with balls shouldn’t compete as women, but he clearly does and I recognize that perhaps there’s something regarding this issue that I have not considered.
I look forward to him enlightening me on this issue so I can modify my position if needed.

It is increasingly recognised across most sports that no one who has been or is going through male puberty should compete in the women's or girls' division, for obvious reasons. (Heart and lung size, muscle mass, limb length, so on.) North America is, unsurprisingly, behind the curve.
