how is a toddler going to hurt a dog? the dog can move, idk i don't get it

i'm not the biggest dog person so it's not like i would give one to a toddler, this would defeat the whole purpose of letting me look away

i mean OK i guess i can be talked up, just the whole friendly modifier and seems like they could get along idk, doesn't seem like THAT bad of an idea, especially if they're gonna grow up together

My toddler was brilliant with my puppy.

I mean you can give them food, drink, toys, stuffed animals, a ball, and a bunch of other stuff for the 1-7 range that’s obviously good to give a toddler

Going with an animal is going with something ambiguous…will toddler hurt it, will it hurt toddler, will it run away from toddler and cause toddler to cry? Lots more ways for it to be a bad idea than food, drink, toys, stuffed animals

Sure some toddlers and puppies are great together, but you start off slow and build that trust; you don’t just hand it to them and say here you go…you are a bit worried for a bit until you know they work well together…a 1-7 isnt something you have to worry about as it’s on the lower side of the give half so should be less uncertain
