These hand do happen everyday multiple times and it is normal. What do you expect? To always win a hand when you are ahead preflop?

A little bit better this week, sadly a deep run was interrupted by GG crashing this sunday, was pos 100 / 10k on the mini big game :(

dont posted because started to run not bad, extremly bad, now 2% badbeats are common, started a session 2 hours ago, loss 3 mtts with AA, full house vs poker 2%, AKs vs AJ (flopped straight) and the last week was like this every mtt, will post screen now while playing. Starting to think the site is rigging against great players to remove the edge....

Just while posting the pics another AA cracked... luckily was against covered player but this "RNG" is insaneeeee, even doug polk after losing 60k in 2 weeks is implying the sites are rigged, so not only lowstackes players think this way

I've read your thread from the beginning and appreciate you sharing the journey with us. Let's just assume you're right. (I assume you think you're right?)

So why don't you stop playing? Why are you participating with your real money in what you are sure is a negative EV unbeatable set of tables?

As usual, first mtt of the session :

Now the soft is not showing equity in these hands lololol

I do no think im right, it´s being my experiencie and intuition, and im not closed to the posibility that this could be just extreme bad luck, actually im hoping this is the case, im still playing the best i can and working on my mental game / tilt issues and hoping this will change some day, but man this 5% happens everyday on most of the mtts i play, insane

This will be the last mtt of the day 😀

Folded this pre bubble i think best case scenarios im just splitting and sweating against 1x diamond, or against flush draws overpairs

I started playing on ggpoker a couple of months ago and the badbeats i recibe are amazinggggg, like everyday i get badbeated by very rare hands, and commonly this players are chinese with no stats in games only mtts and very little winnings, not even sping and go stats that are free on gg with the daily free spins, i started to think there are bots by gg and know the outs on tu

I have been playing GG for 8 months. I was on poker stars for years and saw the difference immediately. It was so obvious to me that I couldn't believe Negraneau supports them. You will still see players make stupid preflop plays with crap cards a lot and suck out frequently. I tried to understand how this is possible, than it hit me - The more players play crap cards, the more likely to get sucked out on. GG is loaded with fish and horrible bluffers. These players are getting in too many pots and increases chances of suckouts. ACR is exactly the same. I have come up with a strategy that eliminates most of these issues. I am a micro player, my stats show in my last 100 tournaments I have made the money 33% of the time. I know, sick right lol. I can't tell you the secret but KJ is not a hand in my book.

This poster only read the title.
This poster can confirm any beat, no matter how bad, is not incredible.

All remains the same, still getting the worst badbeats every time im in a good position to make some deep runs, today on the main 5.50 close to itm and with good stack AA vs QQ, villain gets royal flush runner runner lul:

Not even surprised, or i im the unlucky mtf in this planet, or the RNG is absolutely not random lol, literally getting this tipe of Badbeats every time on key MTT momments

I think I am getting mentally better at coping with, not just bad beats, but mad hands where a freak occurrence is the only thing that can beat you.

Two minutes ago, playing a micro MTT, I fold for 25 minutes and finally wake up to KK utg. I raise to 4.5bb because everybody has been calling most smaller raises. I get 6 callers!

Flop is QQx, here we go again i think so I check as does everybody else. Turn brings my hallelujah card, a King! I check, as does everybody else. River is a Jack.

Juicy af board and I know someone will bet it. Guy on the button goes all in. Brilliant. I call all my chips and a guy in MP reraises all in. The button calls.

Now, as excited as I am at finally getting a big win that will take me up the leaderboard, there's a nagging thought that only quad queens could beat me. Guess what the button had?

A pure bluff? Just joking lol, i guess QQ :(, you can get better at coping with it, but the fact remains, those important spots when deciding if you get to a final tabble or get busted just for a insignificant cash will affect your ROI, ev of the year or even life winnings in a very impactful way, there is not "you will win long term", "the important thing is you put the chips in good" etc etc etc, that ev will never come back and that is the true in MTT world.

I think the best way of aproaching this beats is just to stay with the feeling without ignoring or trying to "think positive", or all the absurds ways this days are preached by "mental coaches" or players

This one wasn't bad as such, we were both in there with good hands, just a freaky run out tbh. Before the K on the turn I'm not putting a single chip into that pot. It's also true that I'm never on the right side of these hands though. If I flopped quad queens, I'm positive that everybody would snap fold out of turn. Positive menta attitude toward bad beats lies in bankroll management. I ran really bad for 2 weeks there, like ridiculous calls hitting one or two outers all day. It didn't really affect me due to having enough cash and if these guys are at my table then I guess I'm at the right table.

After 1.9k MTTs played running extremly bad, i made a couple of FTs and now im up $600, i find on microstakes against new accs and weird players VERY profitable to just fold good hands against agression, it´s crazy how these chinese and russian accs will allways find a way to badbeat or have the nuts, so i just find folds and most of the time correctly, idk if this is just my experience against these players, the rng favoring them, or just that they only show agression with nuts but.... yes just folding against agression with not nutted hands and waiting better spots gives me more EV (alot more) than trying to play pots against these accs, lately i find myself folding alot of top pairs and two pairs against sets and better, its amazing how my intuition is allways on point, i will keep trusting my intuition and see how it continues to go.

I can tell it to you. It's not like that you are an almost guaranteed winner. In fact you'll lose this hand more than 1 time out of 3. Your equity is 64,11%, the other two have almost identical equitiys: 17,92 and 17,97%

Losing hands where you are arount 2/3 favourite is just standard poker. It will happen over and over and over again. Why? Because you're only 2/3 to win the hand. A chance of losing that is over 30% is much bigger than people intuitively thinks/believes. Replay this exact hand 100 times with allin pre will show you a great profit. But on avg you will loose it 35 of those 100 times.

I struggle with this myself, even though I realize in theory that even a 90% probability to win a hand in no way is the same thing as it's guaranteed. You are not entitled to win a hand just because you got it in as a favourite. You are expected to loose it at a frequenzy that the equity of the hand tells you.

Does GG show the opponent's hand even if you fold yours? I know some pokersites do and I find it very odd.

Overfolding especially the river at micros or lowstakes MTT:s is a standard advice and I would guess most consistently winning players at those stakes do it. I call more often though when people take sudden stabbs at the river and/or taking a line that is hard to make sense of. In my player pool I think it may around 50% bluffs in those situations. Which makes it very profitable of course to call when they bet like half or 60% pot (and those riverbets are often in that area). Plus people might be less inclined to try to bluff you off pots when they see you're doing this (even at low or micro I believe there are always players at an average table who are paying attention)

I’ve played on Stars for a year straight, 6-7 days (and nights) a week. I always laughed at people claiming that online poker is rigged. I got back to grinding after a long break, in the meantime stars were banned in my country, so I’m forced to use GG. I can’t believe what I’m seeing there. The board cards are ridiculous. Quads after quads every couple hands, this is not statistically possible

I used to laugh at all the GGPoker is rigged players until I played on GG for the first time myself and lmfao it was a small sample size, but I ran so insanely bad and similarly below EV that I understood it. I’ve laid down hands and walked away in rigged games before and uninstalling the ggpoker app felt the same way.

I just read your post, couple minutes ago I wrote the same. It’s obvious if you have comparison to other sites.

Nothing has changed, the badbeats against these new accs and weird thing on deep runs continue to happen everytime a big score is possible, today i was deep running and they give me AK vs AA two times in a row, according to maths is 1 in 160mil chances of this happening, this happens to me almost everytime i hold AK on deep runs:

Surely you have access to other sites so you can at least compare? Pretty much everyone can join acr and coinpoker.

Patience, my friend. This sort of thing can go on for months—there are plenty of examples. Time will set things right.
