Desk Job + Gym = Constant Tight Muscles. What Helped You?

Desk Job + Gym = Constant Tight Muscles. What Helped You?

I've been dealing with this for the last few months and I'm curious if anyone else is in the same boat.

I work a desk job for 8-10 hours a day, then head straight to the gym 4-5 times a week. My workouts are going well, but my upper back, neck, hip flexors, and shoulders always feel tight. Stretching helps a little, but the tightness comes back the next day.

So I'm wondering:

What's made the biggest difference for you?
Mobility work?
Foam rolling?
Massage therapy?
Yoga?
Something else?

I recently started looking into professional massage therapy because a few friends swear by it for recovery and posture, especially if you spend all day sitting. If you've tried it, did you notice any real improvement in performance or recovery, or was it mostly temporary relief?

I'd love to hear what has actually worked for people here rather than just the usual advice you see online.

Hi there. I started having lower back issues due to a sedentary lifestyle. Stretching and gym workouts are the only remedy. Thanks to these problems, I go to the gym regularly now.
