Terrible pen

I guess everybody misses vs bounou

that was quite the weak penalty shot

When you have such a clean powerful strike why take it like this

They can do it when it isn't a heated moment

Tbf though what was all that delay about, seemed pretty nailed on pen to me.

Ball don’t lie

Missbappe

keep stutter stepping guys - it looks so cool we're so impressed

Someone was on the phone i guess

This is what annoys me about football and VAR so much, there really isn't much difference between Kane's 'non-pen' and Mbappe's that was given. Both could have avoided contact (but don't have to) and both were going down before the tackle landed.

Please be consistent!

looked like a bit of a dive but can see why VAR didn't call for a check

Probably fine if you are a weaker shooter, but Mbappe just needs to step up and blast it.

wtf was that anti-AI, but actually pro-AI commercial??

I honestly think that if that disallowed goal by Egypt was made my Argentina (and specifically Messi) VAR wouldnt have intervened, but ofc cant prove this so it remains a feelingBut this isnt match fixing per se and its also nothing newBig teams and big players get the advantage, its always been this wayTrump calling Infantino to nullify the red card was something new though, i

There is actually precedent for this.

Messi scored a goal vs Paraguay in CONMEBOL WC qualifiers a few years ago.

VAR called it back for a foul in the Argentina half 20 seconds before the goal was scored.

France v England Qatar 22 quarter. There was a clear foul on Saka in the build up to one of the French goals. Much worse than the one in the disallowed Egypt goal and at a very similar stage of play. They chose to ignore it though and VAR allowed the goal.

You can find examples of whatever you want and tbh FIFA/VAR does whatever the fcuk it wants to help whoever it wants.

Didnt know Koeman was managing Morocco.

Muted it. **** AI. At least some company realizes most people hate it.

Lolol i was just about to say France are making morocco look like the netherlands :p

With all the blatant match fixing in favour of Argentina how much do you think they bribed Mbappe to miss that penalty Winni?

i mean morocco got dicked by canada, so this isn't too surprising

They can do it when it isn't a heated moment

Even if it wasnt heated what if dembele ran to ref acted offended?

We dont know whats been said, thats the entire point of the new rule

Whats the cutoff point of heatedness where its not allowed to talk behind your hand?

I know im being a smartass about it but now its just a very flawed rule. Adhere to it completely or not at all.

Cmon Hakimi ffs

xg 1.87 to 0.06 I'm shocked.... it's not 0.00 for morocco

edit--someone lowered it to .05
