Why can't you tune out this thread if you think it's so easy? Even though it exists doesnt mean you have to respond to it.

In this forum, the point is to read whats being said and respond to it. So I dont tune out.

In a poker tournament, the point is to focus on the action and respond accordingly. So I tune out.

I can easily tune in when I want and out when I want, which is apparently not a universal skill. Theres something called attention training; you should give it a go.

Everyone who played with him and the tournament officials that dealt with him felt differently and they even modified a rule to deal with his conduct. Clearly you have uniquely developed a talent to “tune out” someone at the poker table that the rest of the poker world has not. It should suit you well at the next WSOP you play but don’t get all upset at the commentators or the Negreanu nut huggers that seem to bother you so much online.

We look forward to watching you practice your attention training skillset at the tables.

Cash is entirely different. You have a single hand at stake, rather than a "tournament life", and there is no clock. For most of us, the WSOP Main is at most a once-a-year opportunity, and deep in the money more like a once-a-decade opportunity.Personally I know I will get a big decision right much more often if given a respectful minute or so of silence, compared to a barrage

There is a clock in cash games.

Apologies - haven't seen one called.

Saw one today, lol. But all good.

BTW, Will seems to have been completely beat down and his behavior has improved.

Sure you can call a clock in cash. But the 'no cash clock' typically refers to the lack of levels increasing. IOW the time someone consumed doesn't have impact beyond the current hand (though dealer may think differently due to tokes).

There is no ticking clock forcing action due to increasing blinds.

I dont understand how people have such a low ability to tune out noise that they "cant think" because some random guy is chattering on the other end of the table. Even though hes talking to you doesnt mean you have to listen.

table talk (NOT ILLEGAL STALLING) works specifically because of all the weak minded players in tournaments, guys scared by medium/high cash tables. if these players weren't tourney infants they could easily counter this strategy and use it against the table talker. in cash games the speech play guys would just annihilate the weak stuff that works for kassouf in tournaments. If kassouf types got to a big final table with the dnegs/iveys/schwartz of the world they would literally pay him to keep talking (NOT ILLEGAL STALLING) , keep munching those oreos

There was a lot of talk last year about some combination of lack of sleep and medication (illicit or otherwise) on his part. Maybe he just got a few good night's sleep this year.
