If Summer League play is any indication, this draft is going to be every bit as deep as everyone said. There have been a ton of guys who have looked very good.
So far, things are going really well—which is actually a bit unsettling. But I’d certainly love to see another ten top-tier players join the mix.
I don't know if Rich Paul thinks he is playing 4D chess, but what he has been doing is pretty obvious. He keeps making statements that imply the Warriors are on the outside looking in re LeBron unless they make some other move.
I can't imagine that the Warriors would have been willing to give AD a four year, $275 million extension, and I doubt the Wizards would want Jimmy's contract, but RP wanted the Warriors to get involved so that he could maximize the chances that AD gets what he wants.
I don't buy for a minute that Lebron's decision ever turned on whether the Warriors were able to trade for AD because i don't think the Warriors trading for AD was ever a likely outcome given the Wizards' demands and AD's demands.

The league is investigating the Gary Trent extension from the Bucks because the nba realizes no one in their right minds would give that contract to such an ass player.
Bucks should admit they were wrong and hope the nba voids the contract. "our bad can you please not penalize us any further no harm no foul!"
