Turning Stone Resort·Casino (Verona, NY)
Since it has no Brick and Mortar thread and I am actually going there this week to check it out, here is a Turning Stone
The over hit with 2 one day tournaments being extended to a 2nd day.
Mar 15 Seniors - Ended Mar 16 4:36pm
Mar 22 40/40/40 - Ended Mar 23 5:26pm
The registration process thru the WSOP+ app was outstanding.
Table breaking with the app is also a nice improvement.
No credit card fees for me, wonder how long this will last.
Overall an outstanding event.
Agreed all around great
Agreed, app was great and everything went smoothly from my perspective. Great series.
Question: Can you use a credit card at the cage to register for the triple stack on Wednesday or any other tournament?
WSOP coming back starting Oct 15. A second event good for business
Running a 50/50/50 tournamnet is so lame. Just make it 40/40 without the age restriction. Oh your omcs wanna play against other old folk lol. Just open it up to 39 and under also.
Structure is solid compared to what you have been running for normal tournies.
Also WSOP is cool but idk/ the events are kinda lame. They are glorified turbos with shallow stacks and a worthless ring for first. Oh don't forget they pay 15% of the field and winning an event- you are taking a nice haircut on what you actually should win if they had a proper payout table. Pay out 12% max WSOP circuit and actually have a solid structure. The structures are laughable at best- minus the main.
Also turning stone does a great job but have a circuit event in a convention center is kinda blah.
