Does Trump Cheat at Golf
Golf is referred to as "The Gentleman's game." Players keep their own score and are beholden to the rules only by the
As an aside, golf on tee-vee is great background noise for a nice nap.
bc the serial liar and rapist draws a line at golf. duh
grok was miss lindsey a never trumper in 2022
Weren't you an "Always Trumper" until circa April of this year? Something about AI jesus slop made you start backpedaling.
Rules of golf are super complex and it's also likely the case that Trump just doesn't understand them all. This is pretty much guaranteed.
I definitely cheat at golf. I might take a drop somewhere instead of playing 5 off the tee if i drive it out of bounds twice. I might improve my lie in a position that wouldn’t be technically allowed.
Trump definitely somehow finds his ball in the middle of the fairway after it was headed for the trees. Several times per round.
Bill Clinton hasn't been relevant to political discussion for 25 years

I'm sure he doesn't understand all of the rules, but that applies to almost all golfers outside of ones competing at the college level and above. But Trump's cheating isn't because of some misunderstanding of the rules. We aren't talking about incorrectly dropping after a lost ball here.
Cheating at golf matters, at least when it comes to men of integrity.
Choosing Trump shows that Americans have terrible judgment of character. Part of his allure was that allegedly, "He's a successful businessman!!!". Actually, successful businessmen would never get involved with someone like Trump. Charlatans, hucksters and fraudsters might, but successful people know to stay the **** away from such a damaged person.
Spoiler
50+ years ago large company was interviewing candidates for one of its many VicePresident positions. These are not sit down interviews that last an hour or so. These are day-long sessions where they meet, play a round of golf, have lunch, talk business and get to know each other.
When evaluation time came, the President of the company immediately eliminated a candidate because of what happened on the course. "The guy cheated at golf. I can't have someone like that in such a position."
Unfortunately, Trump voters lack wisdom. Or integrity.
Makes sense that Trump and Bryson are tight; they're both lying, cheating *******s.
Bryson isn't a cheater. If they had evidence he improved his lie they didn't show it. I get they don't like him because he's a LIV guy. But calling a penalty on a player just because they don't like him is a disgrace and diminishes the prestige of an event like the UK British Open.

He was penalized because he clearly broke a rule. No one with any brains is suggesting otherwise.
Duh.
But everyone at that level knows that grounding your club in a bunker is a no-no. If you do it, you take the penalty and stfu. There is no argument to be made. You don't cry like a bitch and threaten to withdraw from the event. (I wish he would have. Would have hurt only himself. More *******s like this need to cut their own throats like Bryson would have had he not showed up on Day 3.)
Bryson was careless at best and intentionally reckless at worst when he assessed his ball. He should have been way more careful. Anyone who understands golf knows that. And then he cried like a bitch when they correctly pointed out that all his high-stepping around cleared a path for his backswing.
I was indifferent to him (as I am nearly all pro golfers) before this, but now I hate his guts. What a ****ing baby.
His mother must be so proud.
I agree with the gist of B-Easy's assessment. Bryson improved his lie (technically, his swing path) making it MUCH easier to make good contact with the ball. Penalty was just.
(Back in my yute I had a PGA card; I might know a thing or two about the rules.)
