Bitcoins - digital currency

Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency. Peer-to-peer (P2P) means that there is no central authority to issue new money or keep track of transactions. Instead, these tasks are managed collectively by the nodes of the network. Advantages:

  • Bitcoins can be sent easily through the Internet, without having to trust middlemen.
  • Transactions are designed to be computationally prohibitive to reverse.
  • Be safe from instability caused by fractional reserve banking and central banks. The limited inflation of the Bitcoin system’s money supply is distributed evenly (by CPU power) throughout the network, not monopolized by banks.

Total size 5,811,700 BTC
or 4,585,431 USD
or 3,545,137 EUR
or 133,094,323 RUB
or 3,849 ounces of gold

Any value to this idea or will it never work?

US crypto reserve, and it's exactly my holdings other than ADA... We take these.

****ing ADA up 60 points today alone, congrats to you bros.

And insane 200MM long from someone who knew this was coming is unreal.

Also why the **** would we have a reserve of anything other than BTC? So the US is gonna hold XRP for what reason.... We know the reason, and I'll take it.

Snake-oil salesmen 2,000 years ago already perfected this script and type of language and yet, it's still used to swindle people.

I'll be honest, I didn't expect it to retrace so quickly. I sold a portion of my stack because I had big purchases coming up and had a cost basis in the 40's.

I guess we'll see what happens next. My original prediction was a high in 2025 between Q2 and Q4 and 80-150k. Any new predictions?

Not a new prediction but top near 250k in 4Q.

I'm hoping for a $46,500 Bitcoin, because I'm looking to buy a small portion at that price.

The question is do you buy now and sell at 3x, then wait to reload at 46.5, or just wait it out until 46.5?

Are there any actual details on this other than an EO?

he might be waiting until the death of the universe before he sees 46.5 again.

I still don't understand why people quibble about the current price. If you believe in BTC, then it's going to $1,000,000. That's the target price. Then $10m. There's not really much else to think about. All that's left is deciding your risk tolerance...Shrug

I think you kinda answered your own question. The people who really do understand and believe are hodling till moon and nothing will make them sell before.

There's definitely a category of people though that just buy to try and make fiat b/cos its in the news going up a lot. Not because they took the time to try and understand it. I think these are the ones that sell or complain when it drops.

Also as much as im in for the long term and crashes dont phase me, I do check the price constantly for no reason other than I enjoy to? Pretending I didnt would just be a lie.

I thought sticking a bunch of shitcoins in the proposed reserve was an interesting choice. Maybe a mistake.

You think is aiming out « trump coins » in the reserve ?
Why not huh ….
