2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
I got a lot of waddle in the 70s, think the market actually over corrected on him a little. He’s fine at current price, but I prefer the 3 rookies and Watson
I definitely won't have as much Miami as last year, but the homerism will lead to taking more than I probably should.
It'll be interesting to see which WR they draft.
What’s SW stream mean?
Chambliss tentatively granted 6th season. But NCAA can still appeal.
Looks reasonable to me.
I'm a little worried that 80% of your RB could be on IR by week 6, but other than that, yeah looks fine.
I'm liking our teams in this one, Jimmy. Hopefully the 1.02 doesn't get it cancelled.
Oh ****! I didn’t realize you were in that one! Yeah I like your squad too
On another note, I have an open spot in a 10tm dynasty team that has been all 2p2 members. A lot of them aren't active in the thread anymore, but they're still around in other places. Jimmy is in the league. The annual dues are $50. The settings are start QB/2RB/3WR/TE/Flex/SF, PPR scoring, noTEP, standard QB scoring with 4 pt passing, etc. There is nothing special about t
Iβm down to join if itβs still an open spot!
Sorry, it’s already been filled. I’ll try to remember to message you if another spot ever opens.
Did a little data pulling on 2 v 3 QB teams last season. I didn't have the exact ADPs, but I'm pretty sure these should be right.
Looking at the top 20 teams in The Big Board. 17/20 used 3 QBs. So lock in 3 QBs, right?
Well...
- Only 2 of those teams actually had useable scores in the playoffs.
- Only 5 of those teams had a QB3 that scored 20+ in the playoffs.
- It does seem like for the most part, most people avoided taking rookie QBs.
You're the dolphin fan so you'll know but was achane really dependent on scheme? The stats seem like he is super productive. He just may be good and the new regime may not wreck him and possibly get him the ball more.
A big reason he got so many targets is because of Tua's inability to push the ball downfield. He averaged close to 6 targets/game with Tua as the starter, and (SMALL SAMPLE) was down to 3 targets/game with Ewers.
He can still be an efficient runner and has that breakaway speed, so I'm not completely out on him or anything.
New guy , I hate this rb room I’m drafting right now
Your back half looks good depending how the season plays out, and you're strong at QB1 and TE1 to make up some of those early points.
Stupid room was so QB hungry I had to take Penix at 149
Are we buying the Rice dip? I've taken him at 34 and 35 in the last two drafts.
I’ve seen him go late round 2 twice tonight on DK .
I feel like we aren’t getting enough of a discount yet. He dropped so much in other years and this feels like he may get in real trouble
Yeah, I was already weary about him as it was with the new reports at the beginning of January. And now an actual lawsuit. Though of course, Rashee's attorney said the below.
I've only taken him twice through 41 drafts. I think I'll just fade for now. Plenty of time to jump back on in post-draft contests. He probably needs to be down to the 5th or 6th before I consider him again, without some sort of resolution, which probably won't come before the draft.
